I think he brings up some interesting journalistic questions, but so far as providing legal analysis I have to question where he received his J.D. or which state bar has licensed him to practice law in the U.S. For example, strict liability is a concept under tort law which is under the civil portion of the common law system not criminal. Yes there are cases where this concept of strict liability can get involved but in this instance it was a criminal act and nothing related to strict liability. So far as the agents under the secret service, again they are a government entity and the SCOTUS has made a series of decisions making it very clear they could never be held under a civil suit for strict liability in this fact pattern. Also, it is not true ALL citizens may obtain and own firearms, convicted felons like Mr. Trump are not permitted to own or possess firearms. There are numerous restrictions and regulations related to firearms already in place albeit there is always debate whether to have more stringent restrictions. I appreciate this video for its opinion but please do not take this as actual legal information because too many topics were improperly interpreted.
