Really great share and story! Thank you, Fran!❤
❤ very moving.
Brilliant, just brilliant Helen!! You are an inspiration, and I feel such hope!❤
I am in awe of you Helen. Your podcast is so inspirational. You are amazing. I'm so pleased you are in my life ❤
Helen, that was an incredible video. Your aura of energy and joy was unmistakable. You will undoubtedly assist many folks in staying alcohol free. Thank you for sharing your journey with us!!
Helen that was outstanding. It was so inspirational and filled with such good tips. Going sober indeed gives you clarity and therin lies the hope and the gratitude. You feel like a startled bunny in the headlights. This is where your life can't help but change. All you mentioned resonated so much especially Xmas time now looming, lonliness, but if you plan what you do and what you say and work on the ongoing project of self you will get through. Thank you again Helen and I echo thanks to all you mention and so many more. Go well. You are so brave.
Wow, thanks Helen for the pearls!! My new project is also going to be myself!
It’s always so good to hear folks’ stories of recovery. My husband grew up in a very well-off, professional family rife with alcohol. All six grown children have had issues with heavy and alcoholic drinking. Whiskey was put in infant bottles by their nannies and alcohol was given to children at the very drunken dinners and parties. All the women drank during pregnancy also. From the outside their life looked enviable. I understand what your childhood and family history. Love from Canada. 🇨🇦
fantastic Lloyd , well done to you

So many programs out there that promise you'll quit drinking from one day to the next and feel great for the rest of your life. Listen, Steffon Barkload's latest stuff takes a lighter, safer approach which you decide to go with at your own pace. Best shortcut I go’ogled that only took days to rewire my brain to continually experience mental peace.
That's a rambling monologue.
Exactly, it's a fact that quitting booze not only makes your world a better place to be in, good things start to “magically” happen and the energy is insane! Steffon Barkload's Quit Drinking Forever, that’s the best shortcut I go’ogled that took less than a week to work without suffering withdrawal.
IDK if I was lucky, but it’s been over 9 months and I don’t crave a drop of alcohol, the key difference was that I didn’t suffer withdrawal after go’ogling and reading Steffon Barkload’s Quit Drinking Forever, not even within the first 30 days after I quit and told no one, did not need AA meetings or meds either.

What a great share, thank Darren❤
Such a brave brave girl. ❤
Hélène, I respect and thank you so for sharing, honestly it was just what I needed to hear, I am very far from getting to where you are, but you are giving me hope and guidance ❤️ Thank you 🎉
Oh Helene I am so blown away by your bravery, tenacity and of course your incredible creativity in finding this special way with Richard. YOU DEFINETLY SAVED YOUR MARRIAGE. It could have gone so wrong. I think the important factor here was that both of you had so much at stake to loose, considering the long rewarding foundation you had built together and you had married a good man and a friend. Drinking is such a habit when you are young and I agree, I have also had good old memories but then it changes, and we are unaware of it initially. Its the long unreflected journey that can put you onto the continium of alcoholism. When I became aware of my problem I had no tools to stop, or talk to someone. I would never have gone to AA. The shame and social stigma overides all judgement and then it becomes LONELY and silent and moderation begins. Nobody talks about it. We know the slippery slope and what happens from there onwards. So proud of you in everyway. You have such insight and communicate so well. You propped me up many times in my year that has just happened on Tribe sober. You were always there. I have 2 take away thoughts after this. I. I wish I could send this to my sister in France who doesn't see whats happening in her life. I know. 2. Would it also be an idea to sit and interview your children in a similiar way as after all they have 2 parents back in their lives in such a positive way. What do they think? I am more than proud of you I am inspired by you. Have you thought of coaching in France. You would be a winner for Tribe Sober. With love Nancy
How to apply?
Rivetting listening. Thank you Ann for sharing your story with us at Tribe Sober of which I am a member. You also have the most comforting gentle voice and could do audio books. I live in South Africa and have wanted to write a book for over 30 years. Could i please be considered for your October course. Thank you Ann and Janet.

What a Pro
fantastic Janet and Tribe Sober is such an amazing group of people
just in the neighborhood, from California, as a former old member of the delirium tremens level black out drinkers club, the only thing i tell young drinkers who drink like i used to is to take breaks from drinking, if u can, one day even, but experiment, if for no other reason but to observe for yourself how much of a grip the stuff has on u, same with any drug or strong compulsion/fear/obsession, like relationships.
Your boyfriend must be so embarrassed.
GOD Bless You Sir, Praying For You 🙏🏾
Thanks for making this! I found Dr Lembke through the Huberman Lab Podcast, and have been looking for more conversations with her ever since. I hope she knows that she is helping a lot of people :)
Thank you for this post.
