A really hard piece. My school's jazz band played this last year and we struggled a lot with it. We were still able to play it well, but it took a lot of work. Good job (:

@WhiteBoyLakeShoreDr The metronome marking is Q=132-144, so while it's on the faster side of things... Del Borgo did have a vision of it going this quickly.

i hate when a show goes unfinished

Matched grip makes more sense if the snare isn't tilted. I would say that most schools that use a leveled drum with traditional dont sound as good as schools that use traditional with a tilt. But thats just me.

Its not hard at all... Im baritone In experienced grade 10 class my friend.

Sounded at like one point it rushed but got back together quickly.

Flutes great job on the run, minor intonation problems from the Low Brass(Baritone) in the beginning, timing issues on the transition into the ballad, trumpet solo shaky, flute solo was great, transition out of ballad was fine. Overall, great performance, loud parts could be louder/more accented, and timpani part person really sell out your parts this piece is about winds but also PERCUSSION,! you all deserve a medal for being able to play this piece as well as you did!!!

my band has been doing this song for about 2 or 3 months now and our trumpet section consists of: 1 shitty trumpet player, 1 really shitty trumpet player, and 1 unmentionable... yeah it's pretty hard to play this song well haha
