What if I have infected teeth should I go with root canal. I am worried about my heart health
As a dental student whom reffered to your videos for ideas about dental management well i think you could do much better if it was less involved with statics btw ofc you had your own reasons for mentioning them, but i was just commenting maybe it could be a help👏🏽
Dr Emovon. Your generosity towards my bad breath and acid reflux is incomparable, you assured me of getting healed just within 2 months and it was so. Thanks a lot Dr Emovon on TH-cam I will keep letting the world know about your good work and about your TH-cam channel.❤❤

Since my cavity filling a week ago I have sinus issues...never like this before...could they have done something wrong?
Dentist dude you can at least turn damn things upright, your not showing off quality work.
haha i know, i know. The issue is that they aren't cemented in place and they will fall out, but it gives a good representation.
I never tought my mouth would b so important, this necessary, & in order to look good/our best, we have to eat good , healthy and chew our food

I’d like to know what this is?
A pointer would be helpful

i lost teeth left site sinus infection .. xylitol, coconut oil, calcium and mental health made it regrown
Is your friend single 👀 😍
lol
What about an eye tooth? I’ve been having pain in tooth 11 with a constant stuffiness in that nostril. Dentist said I should have a root canal, but there’s no infection in tooth itself. Any advise?
Just toughen up
unfortunately I don’t have the money for that at the moment and I don’t know how long you can go before you can’t get an implant
it really depends on how quickly the bone deteriorates. Another option is a dental bridge
Swollen gum after wisdom tooth extraction, 6 months in with no pain. Doc says 🤷🏻♂️
Interesting. You may be getting food caught in that site causing the swelling
You are definitely right
THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟 DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜
Really nice video! i was wondering if i could help you edit your videos and make them more engaging i guarentee you full audience retention on your channel.
I wonder if it’s a correlation as opposed to a causation. But it could also have to maybe do with nitric oxide production, since that occurs in the mouth?
I want this done so bad but i cannot afford it
There are other options available like "snap on" dentures that are a lot less
@@pat.the.dentist are they actually dentures? Or vaneers?
those are dentures. What were you interested in?
I just want to get all my teeth removed so don't have to deal with pain in the nerves anymore
@pat.the.dentist I currently have an infection in my gums, it (I believe) has exposed my nerve. I have tried to rinse with salt water but it is excruciating.
My husband's Ed problem was caused from his cancer that we actually didn't know he had till nine years later.
Thats very possible and happens often.
I mean I can see this more so being linked to the fact that people who are likely to brush their teeth less or likely not in a good place mental health-wise and therefore they might also struggle with problems in bed for the same reason.
That could be an issue but this is mostly linked to the bacteria that people who have gum disease have and how that affects blood flow throughout the entire body.
Because people who don't manage to brush their teeth regularly are either in a bad mental state or don't have access to sanitary facilities (e.g. homeless) and those things come with a ton of things that are unhealthy. So not brushing your teeth isn't the catalyst for poor health, it's a symptom along with the poor health for underlying issues.
yes and no. I see enough individuals who come into my office driving a mercedes or bmw who don't brush their teeth. Most people regardless of wealth tend to have subpar hygiene...unfortunately.
@@pat.the.dentistowning a bmw doesn't mean you can't be in a bad mental state or have bad habits
She is stating that people who don't brush their teeth are one or the other. That is not true. Those contribute but that is DEFINITELY not the only reason why.@@nintySW
This video is so bad. I am looking at a picture of teeth and sinuses and don’t know where to look when he’s explaining anything. I’d like my 2 minutes back pls
Top left, second tooth in, above it is the sinus infection.
which teeth cause sinusitis?
All and any of the upper maxillary teeth can cause sinus problems either trough decay/infection or faulty dental work that drills through the sinus floor
Well said doc I agree as an osteopath/physio
love to hear that! We simply seem to forget the importance of diet when it comes to anything health related
Y’all voted for it. So, we don’t want to hear your bellyachin’ 🤫
haha don't worry. I didn't. But I totally agree with you
@@pat.the.dentist oh, I know. _NOBODY_ did. I was just being facetious 🤪 But, I am one of those who have been forced to “tighten my belt,” as my kids’ needs take precedence.

Dumbest idea ever.
Im having right maxillary sinus issues even after my endoscopic sinus surgery. Today i went and had a root canal on molar number 2 on the right because it was sensitive to cold the dentist says you might have inflammation which could affect your maxillary swelling but you don’t have a infected tooth. We went along with a root canal on the right number 2 molar my question is would this root canal help the same as extracting the molar to determine if in fact it is causing inflammation of my maxillary sinus
Yes because many times the infection is stuck on the tooth root or pulp of the jaw bone and it looks normal because it's so evenly spread out
I have three root canals and I have more issues on the right side . Those three failed with big infections. Three antibiotics in a roll because i didn't know what to do extraction or a 2nd root canal. I got the treatment then a nodule on my throat with thyroid toxicity crisis storm ( early Hashimotos disease). I got all my results and labs took to Integrative Natural Health were i got hope more stable. IV treatments with glutathione, tumeric blends, omega 3, vitamin D, a probiotic. 8 months before a Covid-19 survivor. What also almost killed me lock down inal a room 3 weeks in the dark, poor care, front tooth cracked , hair fell lack of vitamin D will do that and more damage.
Me to Did you take the RT out ?
Looks awesome! Where did you do your implant course from and how long?! Very interested in doing it!
Mentorship with more experienced docs when I first started working and Implant ninja
@@pat.the.dentist Implant Nina All on 4 course? How long!? Would love to know more!
Root canals need to stop being done PERIOD!! I am getting the two that I have extracted and Zirconia implants placed, only if I need to. I have been suffering from exactly this for YEARS, like 15-20!!! No Dr has ever helped me. Just pill pushers! 😡 Always took allergy meds. Didn’t really do much. Then I got Covid April 2021 and my health deteriorated. My quality of life has been nonexistent. It’s now Nov 2023 and I’m still suffering. I have had numerous Dr, specialists, Naturopath, Functional medicine, scans, tons of bloodwork, procedures. After much research on the topic of root canals I have finally figured out this is where the source of the infection is coming from that has completely taken over my entire body. Severe fatigue, brain fog, memory loss, mood swings, rage, anxiety, and depression, severe congestion, diagnosed 10+ years ago by an ENT with chronic sinusitis and allergic rhinitis, food sensitivities/histamine intolerance, loss of smell and taste for over 2 years now! GI issues, insomnia, racing heart/palpitations. I am having mine removed ASAP!!! Please watch the documentary “Root Cause”!!!
Can the very front top teeth cause a sinus infection? Like a severe infection where fluid is pouring from the nose every time the person looks down or bends over? Rancid smelling fluid that is not clear but pearl colored?
Virtually unheard of. More likely a molar or premolar will be the issue as right below maxillary sinus
sinus infection starts in the ear commonly on the site people sleep on
Whats about a ⬆️↗️➡️↘️⬇️↙️⬅️ That people can understand where the right maxillary is. 💀
Look at the upper teeth. From top left to right, the teeth are numbered starting with #1 ( Maxillary 3rd molar). This patient has had his wisdom teeth (3rd molars) removed. So, the first tooth we see on the pano is #2. The next tooth is #3 (first molar). You can see it has had a root canal and a post in one of the roots. Look above that tooth and you will see a large oval shape. That is the maxillary sinus. It’s normally filled with air which will show as black on a radiograph. The lower portion of this sinus is translucent gray. That gray color is pus (infection). The infection started at the tips of the roots of tooth 3 and spread upwards into the maxillary sinus. The tooth must be removed because it is the source of the infection. The sinus can be perforated and drained, then patched with a collagen plug. The socket of tooth 3 can be filled with bone graft and antibiotics will help the bone to heal from the infection. 4 months later, an implant can be placed and the tooth can be restored via an abutment and crown on the implant.
@@Stepclimbthis is great, thank you!
You should talk about the bone loss #7, 10 which can contribute to infection.
