It sounds like it will be a grind for radiance. It's nice there is little concern with failure but the grind is real.

One thing that I realized when playing and building heroes at GoG is that we can get crystal and radiant soul by sacrificing 10/0 radiant guardian, like aquiris or some hydris hero which is so cheap at the tokentrove rn. Just buy some of them and then sacrifice it. Then use the materials for building the legendary heroes in the main team.

Agree. It's very unpleasant when new characters are locked behind pay wall. Guilds are cool but the guild bosses are very difficult and if the guild leader goes inactive it's no fun. Also sucks when developers cancel rewards for everyone when cheats are exploited.

I came from AFK Arena (the only gatcha game that drove me away by excess. Used to be lowkey time demanding, became too much lately). I probably have been playing gatcha games for the past 15 years. Played many, bad, great and so so. That experience allows me to say that GoG looks like a game made for people who don't play gatcha games. At all! Fist rule of a game as a service is consistency. U don't need to have AFK Arena consistency (of new heroes, interesting role, killer art design and new modes), but u need to come up with your own, which means a schedule u can keep(if u define "new heroes every 2 weeks", they need to be there every two weeks). GoG don't have any of that. New heroes and modes are released randomly. So the game is not even 1 year old yet and we're already at "dead game waiting for shutdown announcement" atmosphere. About the stones though, GoG stablished a new record with their summoning stones: the only game gatcha game ever that doesn't give u a reason to pull heroes, because the heroes u can call with summoning stones today are still the same u could get in the first month of the game. It's amazing that they didn't realize how "ungatcha" this idea is, even after all this time. And the cherry on top is the infinite grind and bore that they submit the few players who are still active. The Endless mode takes at least 30 minutes to clear every day, and 30 minutes of infinite and pointless boring mechanics. Can it be saved? yes, everything can be fixed with the right amount of creativity and effort, but I'm losing faith as the days go by.
