Welcome to oboeshoesbricks, this channel is my outlet for Lego discussion so said topic doesn't slowly consume the rest of the oboeshoes network. I have a LOT to say about Lego so smash subscribe if you wanna hear some terrible takes.
I Made a HATED Lego theme into a CMF Series
In this video, OboeBot attempts to salvage Jack Stone's reputation by turning him into Child Gambling.

ngl jack stone and galidor was peak lego
Fun to see what was going on back then, the obsessions of youth that quickly get cast aside heh. I definitely feel spoiled now being able to get Breaking Bad in minifigure form so easily compared to gluing on tiny decals and using a Sharpie. Great to see some going into that professionally since "holding your breath" for Lego to do some things can be pointless.
Not to contribute to your woefulness but lots of the internet is incomplete heh. Those promotional packs are like phantoms as often virtually nobody seems to write down when they happened. Largely I look at that very late 90s date for orange bricks and can't help but think "What were you waiting for Lego?". One would think they would have had a coloring book worth of typical colors before 1990. As a company their rate of changing and not changing is a confusing history. Idk maybe they need to do less angled slopes and more curves in brick built character sets since everybody talking about Lego calls them cursed. I do think a little eyelid on the eye-tile print might help. Funny just came across a set I was looking for at Barnes & Noble but they don't seem to sell internationally in 2025 which was a surprise.
Lego has a history of crippling potential by simply being objectively stupid Eg. you removed the figure interchanging function, why?🤨 The flipside of that is Lego fans instantly hating all deviations... except Bionicle lol. I love your silly project, that packaging turned out great. I have to laugh at Office Depot Ie. "Do you even know how worthless these are to fans and to the company that made them?".😄
I remember getting one in a toothbrush when I was little
I got Blue Jack as a kid in a pack with a toothbrush. LEGO was really spreading its wings out from the toy market!
So, I actually love jack stone, it’s what got me into legos as a kid, mainly because the main character had the same first name as me. All my older brothers were into real lego sets but I was a clumsy child who was outgrowing dull, and who for some reason hated normal minifigures because they were too small (which as a now 6’2” man who is obsessed with minifigures I can barely comprehend) so my parents started getting me Jack stone sets, because I still wanted to play with legos like my brothers, and it was kind of the perfect in between
1:56 Rarity?!
I never realized Jack Stone was hated. My grandma used to have Jack Stone sets in her Lego bin and I would play with them every time I visited
banger video
loved the video!! so much. i grew up in the 2000s in a remote small town that didn’t see much lego pass through; but that also meant as a consequence some sets stayed in shelves well past their retirement! i had a couple studios, orient expedition, harry potter, and even a time twisters set! last but not least of course… jack stone. i’m glad the quirky 2000s is getting more love and attention because it has a huuuuge soft spot in my heart and is by far my favorite era of lego. just imagine….
DUDE. I knew cac was wazzupbob when I saw the airborne trooper helmet. Incredible work. And great video!
Best lego vid on yt
I never knew I needed this pumpkin deep dive 😂, please follow up with the witches!
Fucking dead 😂
Can't wait to hit the store and pull some legendary tier Jack Stone collectibles
These were in toothbrushes so I had a lot of them
All those different Jacks and none of them are handsome.
So that’s the random dude in my Lego city…..kick him out.
Great. Now I miss the Lego Technic minifigures. I love fully-poseable characters in small sizes. I remember when it was somehow possible to order a set of those from the Lego Magazine catalog.
I had the fireman and always thought it was an off brand.
I was scared this channel had bit the dust. Thank for making my day better!
Looking forward to the Ebay goblins who will now try charging $45 for Jack Stone figures after they find this video.
Wait, oboe has a lego channel?
We need a nerd to balance the fiscal budget the way Oboe researches lego pumpkins
I had the Jack Stone fire truck when I was a kid, gotta know that lore now
Man, I had a couple of those Jack Stone minifigures as a kid and I loved them. It always kinda breaks my heart seeing people hate on the theme and characters.
Jack is back and more collectible than ever!
Someone get this man a Jack Stone fire truck!
1:25 Oh dearest WoodwindSneakers, may I please receive an item of some variety without the need for a currency-based transaction?
forgot to mention that it only counts if you read the shirt in person at a Lego convention :(
4:46 doom sound
So sorry you had to endure the pain of Toy Story on Game Boy, my condolences. 😔
I'm glad I haven't started using bricklink yet, because I will definitely be swimming in Jack Stone figures when I do.
A stupid loophole to Office Depots copyright scare is that most stores only care about the printing, and don't give a fuck about what you do at the self service. They'll cut whatever the hell you want. So if you buy a stack of label sheets or cardstock, print the shit yourself, and hand that back to them saying "cut this pretty please"... They can't really say no, unless the print lead has a stick up their ass. I know teachers and Dungeon Masters get their guidebooks cut and coil bound all the time. Though honestly, I bet more Etsy sellers have better QA than the average OD employee.
Will you be at Brickworld Chicago 2025?
possibly, haven't decided yet
You earned my subscribe by using the cyclopean
Get back to playing steam slop 😡
at the christmas party , just straight up “jacking it”. and by “it” , of course, i mean . my Stones
you should make all your jack stones fight too the death and see who is the most powerful, the ultimate jack off.
As someone who was raised on Lego Jack Stone, it's nice to see the theme getting some love, even if it's just for a meme.
my babyboy finally uploaded to his brick channel
3:33 That pilot outfit makes me think of Harry Cane from the ol' Adventurers line.
The green suit Jack came in a toothbrush shaped like a rocket. I remember using the bottom part as a tiny water cup
i dreamt of moments like this
Those little baggies are also perfect for distributing drugs 👍
