Lari White was my Biggest Country Crush ever and I fell for many female singers, but she was special. I was madly in love with her, she had so much personality. I honestly thought she was Thee Most beautiful woman in all of Country Music even over Shania Twain. I loved Shania too, and she was no overnight success either, but Lari in my opinion should have and could have been damn near as big. Nobody had a better voice or more stage presence and she was a brilliant song writer. Never a favorite of Country Radio Programmers who loved to stick her in a 7 hour rotation, she somehow still managed 6 Top 20 country singles, 3 Top 10's and one Number 1 song on the Gavin Report. Her second Album "Wishes " in 1994 was certified Gold, but there were incredible songs that never saw a release on that album that could have easily pushed it beyond platinum. Her next two CD's which she produced were even better, should have established her as one of the biggest Stars of the day. Neither got much premotion and only had one video a piece. Nashville sure didn't and still doesn't know great talent. She was an awesome, singer incredible song writer and one of the Best-Looking woman I've ever seen in life. Could have been a huge Movie Star. She did appear in some TV movies and Television series.
