im not sure of your question, but before kyou tighten the riser bolt and the limb is loose, you just place the pad behind, 3cm X 2cm piece of leather will do, its just to grip the limb and stop plastic on plastic friction.

@@dragonode1 off the top of my head, I can't remember, I know its in the pdf from lukash jenakowski, on cults 3d, if I remember its about 5cm long, Allan head bolt, I THINK I! its an M12. but I'm not sure. where you push the bolt in from the front, you fit a 12mm nut on the inside If I remember, has been over a year, since I done one. printing Farmimers Mini Adder at the moment, that's a different design, with alloy chassis.

behind the limb, you need a rubber pad (thats the side facing you), in the face of the limb, you need a rubber pad, then a metal plate, furthest away from you.

@@larsharrison5559 if your bulk buying from steambow in austria, it don't matter if its a limb tip or a system, postage is 16.49, but you get hammered on uk import duty, 21%.then PayPal or eBay fees etc on top. really pushes up the prices for me to sell, so yes I am an official Steambow dealer, Tobias asked me to join, I'm not in a position to trade at the moment. so just sell stuff I make or promote through the channel. all my stuff is on eBay. yes totally, im just finishing doing my first print, on the farimer mini adder, which has the alloy chassis inside for stiffness. i LOVE the addereini, but the first 2 i done, were in plain pla, great fit and finish, but i felt, they could have been stiffer, ive done my last 2 mags with a carbon fibre mix with pla + (thanks for buying roger) which was much better than a straight print, but take stwice as long to print. the stocks ive done in abs as well, (roger yours is finished and assembled this morning) and changed the slicing on the print, so its stronger in linear torque, than my first orange prototype print, that i gave to roger.

@@jaminmayo7125 i usually do a build guid, every christmas, this year it will ne the farimer v2, then sell them around march, as every one is skint, after xmas lol :) the adderini crossbow videos are better, i spent more time on them and more in depth. you learn as you go :)

pass... sorry, you got me there, I've not heard of that myself, I suppose with an alloy casting, any air bubbles will make it weak and its not as if you could x-ray, alloy on a production line, in the 80s either.

yeah, if you print the extended forks, you can get around 14ft lbs with thera band gold tripple layer

this is just a random blog video of an adderini i done.do the farimer version at the moment, it has an alloy chassis, so doesnt twist under high power and will take the 90lbs pro limb, if i print the reinforced side gate.

yup, the first batch had to be ordered by end of January, yours will be in the third batch for shipping. 2nd batch went to America, 3rd batch rest of the world.

crossbows were outlawed by the church, and for hundreds of years, they was only used for sniping, hunting or patrol weapon by the sheriff and his deputy's, a bow was faster loading, with the average uk crossbow, being over 500lbs draw and serious crossbows being over 1200lbs draw, the time taken to load them, a magazine was pointless. these new VERY weak crossbows, are only around 150-200 lbs, my bow is 400 lbs draw, using a 1" 800 gram bolt, armour piercing, as they say, its not the size of the shot, its the message it delivers :) lol

i dont know about portugal law, but uk law is, it has to be stripped and in secure carry case, which is internationally recognised, like one of the steambow cases and declared prior to check in, your travelling with aweapon.

the M10 stock is light years ahead of the stinger stock. either the R.I.S.O.R stock I fitted to my metal mag ar6 (had a better lock, molly mounting, but you have to buy different height combs to adjust the cheek piece) where as the new Steambow stock it has adjustable comb and a decent but pad, and a massive improvement over the ar6 stock.

i love mike to bits, he only changes the heads on his bolts though, mine are hand made from scratch, i order in around 5meters of carbon at a time and hand cut it all, fit the the flights, balance the shafts, my main streambolts are from production line. low volume bolts like these, you cant stop production to do it. takes to long. around 15 min per bolt.

people dont realise, the reason why the bear desire xl, mankung alligator and anglo arms op360, dont have better features is, they are all made by a company in Taiwan called Poe Lang, who also make all the crossbows for ek archery cobra and its clones, centre point, velocity, barnett and steambow. so they produce a cheap one, to get people into it then get you to buy one of the other brands, either way, production profits go back to Poe Lang ;)

why would they be complaining to gogun? thats a bit like someone complaining to ford after they bought a bmw! what is the problem with the upper? ive got 2 and put over a thousand shots through both, roughly 200 shots per mag, only thing i get, is the bolts popping out if you roughly handle the mags, use plastic bolts or bolts with a silky smooth finish!
