Trolling and Reef Fishing in the Southern Cays
I finally got a chance to edit one of my trip videos. We decided to do some trolling on the way to the reefs outside the Cays for some drop-line (deep-drop) fishing. I hope you enjoy the video.

At what altitude do you really start feeling the change in temperature
It depends. The entire range is noticeably cooler than on the flats once you get past 1000 meters or so. If you're hiking during a sunny day, you won't feel any noticeable change until you have settled and cooled off at Portland Gap (which is almost 1800 meters). Then there are other variables like the occasional sprinkle of rain or cloud cover that can affect the temperature at any elevation. However, the most noticeable drop in temperature occurs during the night. Hope this helps.

No. It became a Third World country. Around that time the U.S dollar was worth about 70 Jamaican cents. Then came Manley and the rest is history. I think even most of Manley's relatives migrated afterwards.

I implore you to try it. You won't regret it. This trip was in December, so it was very cold - maybe around 16-18 degrees C.
@@toocoded I will no doubt. I'm just concern about the type of clothes to wear. I use a daily temperature tracker app called YR that shows average temperatures at the *Blue Mountain Peak* from *December* to *February* in the single digits from 3 to 10 degrees celsius. Which is comparable to many places here in the US and that would be cold❄
@@kingnaldo4058 taking a jacket made for 10 to 15 degrees should be fine. And you will only need it at nights and in the early morning or if its raining. During the day, it will get pretty warm. You won't even need a jacket much while hiking, as you will be burning calories and perspiring. I will check that app out. Thanks.
