KTM 990 Adventure Fuel Leak

If you have an inexplicable smell of fuel from your 990, it MAY be coming from the air box. The hose that connects to the left hand side fuel tank connects directly to the throttle bodies show in the video. When the key is turned and pump primed, fuel can leak from in between the hose and throttle body pipe if the pipe is brittle or doesn't have a good seal. I corrected the issue with a threade...

No, you wouldn't get thrown off the bike. The bike would coast but, in any case, not a situation you'd like to find yourself into. Thanks for the video. It's hard work. P.S. I suspect that the stripped cable within the ignition barrel, at the point of connection with the switch, was caused by the pulling of the cable downwards when it was caught by the handlebars turning.
Hey mate what is the bracket called?? i can only just make out the numbers on the part the one you are holding apears to be for the left side. if i could find out where you got them i would be a happy man. cheers!!!

Was it causeing a no spark issue for the bike ??
It was killing power to the whole bike when turning the handlebars, making slow manoeuvres.
Pressing call answer and end call buttons also work the light washers

Great idea! How much improvement over the stock screen?
A huge improvement over the stock screen, (which I do like) but for long motorway stints, in inclement weather and with a pillion, this wins hands down. I also found it was cheaper than other aftermarket screens at the time I purchased it...Touratech, Puig et al. Not bad for an OEM KTM part. Thanks for commenting. 👍
