Triumph TR6c
มุมมอง 24K13 ปีที่แล้ว
A vintage, restored 1968 Triumph TR-6c (Scrambler) motorcycle. Quite rare. This was the type of bike that racers like Steve McQueen and Dan Gurney would race across the desert. It's still a very quick ride though maybe not compared to today's machines. PLAN to stop with those drum brakes, too.
Beautiful bike !! Throw away number plate and you can put it back in showroom again!! Excellent condition!!
Correct use of the tickler, excellent
Beautifully finished. If you're ever in the Hudson Valley give me a shout as I've got it's identical twin. Cheers!
Always liked the lines of the single carb TR-6 better than the Bonneville. Beautiful bike. Keep it.
Why would the lines of the bike be different?
Agreed
Hey well done Mike .o.
got a 68 trophy sports. makes life very tolerable. bought it for a dollar a cc in 72 and had it fully restored in 2012. put 12,000 north texas miles on it since then. -gilpin 3-8-16
Can you tell me the name of that color ? Or do you have a paint code ? Really a beautiful blue ! Fabulous bike !
Paul ... the factory color for a 1968 TR6-c is Riviera Blue ... but an old friend (now deceased) painted the tank for me. He noted at the time that is was not 'really' Riviera Blue but more like a 1965 Triumph shade called "Pacific Blue" I liked it and was very pleased with the vivid outcome. I don't have paint codes but I hope that helps. Thanks for the view and your comments. The bike is even nicer today since both wheels re-laced with new SS spokes. Gee ... with 7,200+ views ... I'm going viral! Mike
Six5Zero Thanks for the information on the tank color. I'm going to try and get as close to your color as possible. I'm up in Canada and have a '68 TR6C as well. These are very rare up here and I hope someday it will look as beautiful as yours.
