All you need to know is that Mama June moved back in her boyfriend who had been convicted of inappropriate contact with her daughter pumpkin so now the eldest that was the actual mama and the glue of the family has succumbed to cancer and Mama June doesn't know what to do because there's nobody there to be her owl anymore I'm going to describe her as an owl unfortunately Mama June is a vile person and Alana brought in the money the eldest daughter was the actual mama and now that she's gone they don't know how to be.

That whole family is a major train wreck. They are all unhealthy and overweight. Watching them eat it's nothing but fried foods and sugar. June spent all of Alanna's money she was supposed to save for her college education. The money was supposed to be in a Coogan account. June thinks not that she is "sober", everything should go back normal and just let the past bury itself. Of course life doesn't work that way. Pumpkin and Josh are trainwrecks themselves. Josh could never find a job and keep it so I guess they are living off of the money they make on the show. What they don't seem to know is all good things eventually come to an end. They are living why out of their means. All the girls except two of them never graduated high school. They all began having children when they were supposed to be going to school. Alanna has been home more times than she attends college. If you want to keep your children on the straight and narrow, make them watch this show. Hopefully they are smart enough not to make these people roll models.
