Fantastic. ☺
Wait a minute I thought you were supposed to use the compost for the garden or something like that. Why are you throwing it away? What's the whole point of this?
This happened to me and my friends on Mt. Lafayette one time. Hiking from Crawford Notch thru the Pemi Wilderness to the Franconia Range. Seventy to eighty mph winds. We had quite the hike!
Wow! Glad you were able to stay safe!
You might want to try Katahdin at some point. And, dear god, not this time of year! There are YT videos showing bits and pieces of the climb, which will give you what you need to know about the challenge.
Thanks for the recommendation! And we would definitely try that in the summer
Wrong time of year
Yes. When we try again it will definitely be in the summer.
70 mph winds would be recorded in Observatory Tower -- up in the parapet. That is 60 feet above the observation deck. Winds below the tower fall off exponentially. You may have experienced winds gusting to the 40s but nothing higher. People often overestimate wind speed.
Beautiful and rugged area!
Agreed! That whole area is absolutely gorgeous!
NICE NICE nice video, thank you ! You DID make a nice hike in a nice wilderness, and you DID make it to manage your expedition right, take sound good decisions in time, when you felt that the weather conditions, your gear, clothes and overall preparation wouldn't allow you to summit MT Washington that particular day in a safe and comfortable manner. So the decision you then made was the RIGHT decision and your hike was a beautiful SUCCESS.
Thank you! We really enjoyed ourselves since it was such beautiful hike even tho we had to turn around.
@@kevandjess5737 Amongst the facts which are little heralded in the White Mountains is altitude sickness. Although nobody should normally die from altitude sickness alone on Mt Washington, the altitude there is high enough to give mild altitude sickness symptoms to anyone being already slightly exhausted, dehydrated, thirsty, hungry OR overfed, injured or sick with any other condition. At the top of Mt Washington, air oxygen content is reduced by 21% as compared to sea level and along the way up, it starts at 93% of normal oxygen concentration and gradually gets down to just 79 %. Meaning we have to breathe 5 times to get the same amount of oxygen in our blood which we would normally get breathing only 4 times at sea level, making us just slightly more out of breath. While this phenomenon may go completely unnoticed, when everything runs fine, it may be the huge difference which actually contributed to KILL so many people finding themselves on Mt Washington in extreme conditions and possibly ill-prepared to face them. Proper body hydration is all the more important then to keep our blood very liquid, well fluid, and help it flow nicely in tiny blood vessels. A lot of people suffer and/or die from strokes and AVCs at high altitude, body dehydration being then clearly a contributing factor. This phenomenon is worsened by the fact that a normal body adaptation to altitude and lack of oxygen is blood-thickening, an increase in the blood red cells content to try to make up for decrease oxygen content of air. This increased content of red cells in our blood makes the blood all the more viscous and more prone to blockages, that is blood-clotting in tiny arteries, so proper hydration then is all the more important to try and avoid such condition to develop.
You made the right call to turn around, Mount Washington is a beautiful mountain that many high end mountain climbers underestimate because of its height. It is known as the place with the worst weather in the world for a reason. Great Video!
Thanks! We did our research on the hike so we knew how quickly the weather could change, but it was still a bit shocking to actually experience it.
Good job guys, I have climbed all the trails, had to head back twice on Huntington ravine, stay safe!
Thanks you!
It's widely recognized that anything over 26.2 miles is considered an "ultra". Why are you claiming your running an ultra when this run is literally called the "Boulder beast trail race". NOT throwing shade on your accomplishment but for fcks sake man, quit spreading made-up BS.
Stunning shots guys! Views and overall atmosphere are brilliant!
Thank you!
_Wow, this is amazing! You are all so inspiring, I love watching you run, and I'm so proud of you for pushing yourselves to your limits. You are all truly incredible athletess, and I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to watch you run. Keep up the great work!_ 👍❤
Thank you!!
Hi.I watch Your TH-cam video.Your video is really amazing.
Hi, I watch your TH-cam video. Your TH-cam video is amazing. But your channel and videos expected more views and subs. I analyzed your TH-cam channel and I found TH-cam video SEO is not done. And the keywords you used in the video have a lot of competition so your video doesn't rank first in the search list and doesn't reach your audience. This is why your video is not going viral and views are not increasing. If You have any confusion feel free to ask. Thank You.

Ah ok I get it 🤔 this is a joke so you get more activity in the comments
Would you try this via ferrata or do you think it's too scary?
I’m so confused. I thought your supposed to put it in a compost bin or area? Why throw it out?
Bro for what purpose
Put the plastic bag into the container and then put the compost ontop of the bag. When it's time to empty it just pull out the bag - no dumping required.
Trash bag and thrown away for the video. We all know what happens that dookie.
That Sky Ladder is intense! 😱 The views from Donnerkogel are breathtaking, and climbing that ladder must have been such a rush. Props to you both for tackling it - definitely looks like an unforgettable adventure! 🧗♂
It was definitely an unforgettable experience! Sometimes we still can’t believe we actually did it!
nice location
We still can’t get over those views! The Gosau area looked like it was out of a fairytale!
I was here in the end of june, and I agree. Getting on to the ladder is the scariest part. You have to turn around while standing above 100 m of nothing. Also the ladder is shakier when more people are on it at the same time.
Yes! I was so worried about slipping getting onto it. Luckily for us people were only doing 2 at a time on the ladder when we went so it wasn’t too shaky.
I’m afraid of heights, not sure why TH-cam recommended this 😅 but I enjoyed seeing you two acing it. Great video!
Thank you!
this was somehow in my recommended videos. I have to say it is well done, nice quality overall
Thank you!
banger video guys
Thanks you!
Amazing video and achievement. Well done you two. And you’re youtubers now. Congrats!
Thanks 😊
I would have been out of breath after 15 mins and needed a 3 hour break.
Where your fathers live
Thank you for the video:) What was one of your favorite places to explore/see in Vienna that you think is a must when traveling there?
If you like visiting cathedrals, St. Stephens Cathedral is a must see! We also loved Schoenbrunn Palace and wish we would have been able to go inside!
@@kevandjess5737 thank you! 😊
Oh...Buckeyes in Vienna!😁😁 Hope you had a great time in my home city!
We loved Vienna and definitely plan on visiting again!! 😁
eventueally plastic obsorbs toxic sewer no matter what....period...i use a steel 3 gallon steel bucket inside a 5 gallon home depot bucket... I put a plastic bag in the steel bucket then poop and pee asding pine pellets to cover each time... i empty my toilet every 2 to 4 weeks... Yes the 3 gallon bucket has a lid which i use to cover the bucket after i twist the top of the utalized bag and tuck under the steel bucket lid...after each use...been doing this for many years
Cool place
I am 55 years old & I don't have working legs so I would have never seen this place on my own if it wasn't for you so ty sooo much for uploading your adventures~ makes me feel like I am a part of them <3
Thank you ☺️
Charles Bridge should be most iconic for europe, not just this country. good tip to get going early! Editing is a bit choppy, but not bad for beginners :)
Thank you :-)
You guys seriously have no idea what composting is for if you just toss it in the garbage 😅
Hello, I recently came across your TH-cam channel, and I think your content is quite good. However, I believe it has the potential to reach a much larger audience. If you want, I'd like to suggest some strategies that could help you grow your channel.

Thats nasty as hell 🤮🤮
At 6:01 I think I saw a 7ft tall black figure on a tree behind you at the lake!!! my be the BF wants to zoom bombing your video.
why are yall composting if you just throw it away
Human waste can't be used as compost for plants because it contains too much bacteria. We chose a composting toilet for the van instead of a chemical toilet because it doesn't smell.
You're wrong it can be used as compost to plants. There's specific composting process called humanure composting.
@@BrijeshJaiswal-c8hwho cares what if they don’t wanna use there sh*t to grow plants let ppl dot what they want
@@kevandjess5737so if everywhere a human has shat on the floor all the plants that were there died there would be no plants
