Hands up Kyle. I have my gigante since summer 2020. Lately i was struglling to keep the tent steady in windy days, i thought it was because of the fabric on the tips were becomimg worned out. It happens i really followed your tips, i really filled the sand bags around the same way as you did, i burried the bags underneath the sand and specially i really stretched the tent to a maximum and voila, even with the winds picking to around 30km the tent stood still!!! Thank you so much for your help!! 😉
16 minutes in, still putting it up,I’m out
The poles are made of aluminum, very high strength-to-weight ratio
I got my Neso last week, and found it super easy to set up. However, the wind soon wreaked havoc on it, and I couldn’t get it to stay up no matter what I tried. I built a set of these anchors out of some plywood discs I had in my garage, and just set it up again for this coming four-day beach trip. They work like a charm! Thanks for the tip!
Great video!!! I note the alternative solution for the sandbags
Hot dad alert ‼️
I have one of these tents and I think it’s important to realize how much space it takes up on the beach. Between the sun shade its self and then the tension cords it’s massive. If you are in an isolated area it doesn’t matter. But on a crowded beach it takes up 4-5 times as much floor space as a traditional tent or umbrella. That’s pretty obnoxious when space is at a premium. It also blocks others from seeing the ocean. I try to be considerate and pick a spot where the tent isn’t a nuisance. It’s a great product overall
Are you supposed to check the direction.of the wind first and set up the front of the tent to face the wind?
The tent is square so there is no “front”. But you do need to check the wind BEFORE setting it up. Unfortunately the wind often changes direction as the day heats up and the sea breeze forms
Great tutorial. Exactly what I needed to make myself buy this product. I watched 6 other videos that didn’t explain it this well.
Great video
On our busy small beach you would getting your ass kicked with that huge setup but looks great it your on a huge beach
Yes. This thing takes up a huge amount of floor space and blocks people’s view. Need to pick an isolated spot to avoid being a nuisance
A lot of work. I'm in shape and can handle it, but others probably will get fed up. Great concept though
It’s not really necessary to bury the bags completely. You can instead just create a shallow depression and sit the bags there. Then pile up sand on top of the bags if needed. If the wind gusts you actually want the bags to move instead of breaking the poles.
There’s no way of using this product on a crowded beach, tho.
Yep. These tents take up an obnoxious amount of space and blocks the view of everybody behind you. Need to find a relatively isolated spot
Dude...Great video! "These aluminum poles...there made out of aluminum"...had me rollin!!!!!! Just bought the Grande. Again, great vid!
Kyle, great video and excellent tips. Will definitely bring my small shovel and bury the sandbags.
Well done, dad! Taking care of the family with good ideas.
I have the neso gigante. Does that small anchor work better than filling up those sand bags? Do they anchors work out better under windy conditions ? I am looking for a faster set up .
Great video! Thanks! Could you tell me size of the pvc pipe you used and how you secured the tennis ball to the top?
Hey! Great video! Thank you! Could you let us know how you built the PVC poles? Size and parts?
Get some 3/4” PVC from the hardware store. Make the length exactly the same as the poles that came with the tent. Cut them in half or thirds for easier transport and attach them with couplers.
I was thinking about one of these but holy shit does it look like a lot of work and trial and error. That's literally not what I want in a beach tent. I love that it's huge but man a lot of work and broken poles and everything no thanks.
Once you’ve set it up a couple of times it just takes about 5 minutes. I just use my hands instead of a shovel. No need to completely bury the bags like he did. Once set up you have hours of shade and a nice breeze under the tent. It’s really great
Just bought one..thanks for the tips!
Thanks for the video. I wish i came across it early so I can buy the exact same product. You did very well explaining everything in extreme detail. Thank you
These great instructions helped our tent go from flailing in the wind to taut and sturdy!

I love your accent - haha!!! 😫
Sadly I couldn’t get my Neso1 to stay up with normal beach wind.
I have two, the trick to them is more sand then you think you need and tighter then you think as well
Would you mind giving some specifics on the PVC poles you built? How long, how the tennis ball attaches, etc... Thanks!
Kyle, same here. Please provide those instructions. Thanks!
Excellent explanation and tips. Last year I spent so much time fighting with umbrellas and anchors, I have been seeking not only a product like this but someone else's learning experience and common sense improvements. Thank you.
You solved all my struggles last year. Despite those, still loved it at Sanibel Fl.
Where is your cart from?
St. Simons island! Great video.
Is this the Grande?
Great Video. Thank you. I have the Grande, love it.
Great Video Kyle. Thank you. Your DIY anchor seem like a perfect solution. In fact, why not convert the beach sandbags to straps with carabiner (Neso's conversion kit or simply DIY again), and use your anchors, for the beach? Seems like a much more time efficient and effective anchor, than filling sandbags.
Great video, just got a NESO and heading to OBX with it, appreciate it.
Amazing video! Can you please share the links of where you got the sand blocks and extra poles?
Nice review. Is it 9x9? Looks big. I need for family of 4(+2), so, 7x7 would be enough?
lucky777films that looks to be the gigante model which is about 11x11.
I have the grande. 9x9. Good for 4 -5 people with space.
Isaiah (Robinson) is enjoying these videos. Thank you!
This one was so much fun!!! Perfect for Deacon the kindergartener and his little 4 year old sister. Thank you!!!
Hi Parker and Mary. I miss seeing you. Good luck on trumpet Parker.
Thanks Coach Ward!😊
