if you mean, keeping the goldfish with the PLATTIES, the PLECOS, and Lori's, then, no. Fancy goldfish do not do well in cold water. Their actual temperature requirements are somewhere between 76 and 80° just like tropical fish. plus, all of the little plates provide food cleanup, along with the Coreys. As you may know, goldfish can be awfully messy.🐠🦯

If you visit tropical countries its actually very common 😊 goldfish are adaptable.

I haven’t quit. I just don’t have any of my anything that I had in Orlando anymore every tank every fish every everything was left behind. It breaks my heart and makes me sick at my stomach. But, I am here in my new home and I have a couple of very small aquariums. Nothing special special nothing even worth putting a video out about, but, I’ve had fish my entire life and I don’t think I’ll ever go without. Thanks for the comment.🐠🦯

Minus the entire school of Angels in the tank with those rainbows, every one of those fish came out of a 55 before I moved them into the 125. I think I had six different species of rainbows and I purchased anywhere from 3 to 6 of each. But, the real question is how much maintenance are you willing to do? If you’re willing to keep the water clean, you can put I’d say, or 30 in that tank but, that’s just me. I have nothing but time to do water changes. Plus you want to consider the species you’re buying and how large they get. Hope that helped.🐠🦯

Yeah, I’m not out. I’ve been keeping fish since the 80s and have been in and out a couple of times myself. However, the suddenness and the uncertain this at the moment has me wondering how much deeper I’m gonna get back into it once I get through the other side of everything going on in my life right now. I am, however, keeping three tanks up and running of a few of my various fish. The platies are a calico yellow that are crossed with a high fin various floaty. Basically a mutt. I just have them because they’re pretty and they look good with the goldfish.

Yes ma’am, of course. And thank you so much for your kind words. Most of the fish have found homes by now. But, there’s still a lot of work to be done. And, I’m not out completely. But just not focused on TH-cam for an hour. I’m only keeping three of my Mini tanks and I don’t know that I even care to post videos anymore. But you can never tell what’s in store for the future now can you?

@@theblindfishkeeper I honestly don't post here on TH-cam, maybe 3 shorts, and on IG now and then. It was truly to share with my family at first. I find when I record to post too often, I am not really enjoying quite as much. I am far more critical of myself and tanks. It's almost like making a record of it makes the memory less enjoyable as I'm worried what others may think. Thats just me though. I hope you enjoy those tanks you have to their full extent. You are a great fishkeeper 😊

If you were snail, is a pet snail, then I probably wouldn’t risk the salt. Light doses of salt won’t hurt invertebrates, but for the kind of saw you need for anchorworm‘s, it will wipe them out.🐠🦯

I totally agree. I’ve been through three myself. Idly enough though, the very first odyssey CFS 700 that I bought is still running. But the UV sterilizer is completely in crumbles. But I do love the filter.🐠🦯

@@theblindfishkeeper idk what is wrong with my UV sterilizer right now, brand new bulb and no power?! Maybe the switch or plug? Who knows but yea my original and only one runs strong it’s a great filter overall for the price!
