Yeah, the 4/4 needs an entire turn to set up + extra mana and it’s a random card instead of the usual “draft”. I wanted to showcase it for content but it pales in comparison to the 2/4 lol

Very nice! That's probably the most common way to use it, get some discard ETBs just to sac them later for the viper with their depleted hands... chef's kiss! I did want to try something different off the walls and it's pretty gimmicky but I like it esp with the haste! Assume you also run Braids and the like? I'm sure that's nasty :)

People think that it's a discard deck based on Bandit's Talent, not a Viper list, so they tend to devalue their removal over their own wincons when making discard decisions. The deck is literally just 19 discard cards, 14 removal cards, and 4 draw cards, with lands. It's absolutely gross. The one weakness is planeswalkers and that Golgari midrange list with both PWs and the anti-discard beast. Best part is, it basically farms most aggro lists.

@@angellestat2730 yeah, it can definitely be a pain, I get it! Brotherhoods End is a must if you’re running red. Seems their entire simulacrum and tokens regardless of how big they are!

​@@ManaManMTG yeah, but the game should not be designed to include at least a minimun of 4 cards just to counter one broken card. In fact, red is the color I play less often because rushing strategies are quite boring in my opinion. The card would be already quite good if instead said "this creature artifact gets +1+1 for each artifact that is not a creature that you control". But if you start to create creature artifacts with this mechanic plus all the artifact that you play or create from your hand or abilities, then it can not be stop unless you fight the best agro decks or you have bad luck. No card should be printed that requires to have a special card just to countered. That is not a good gameplay design.

@@Bonzomad people definitely seem to not like it as much, which is sad imo! I will make probably 3-4 alchemy videos and evaluate how the views are, but if they are bad I may need to switch back to standard. Hopefully they do well because I do love alchemy! Appreciate the support, fingers crossed 🤞

I’ll never understand the hatred for alchemy, so to each their own! To me arena is already not “real” magic because paper is, so oh well I just find it fun. Plus nobody else really makes alchemy content so maybe I fill a niche? I do appreciate you as always my friend, hope all is well!! 🥳

Mono blue is in a weird spot for sure. I definitely think it’s got some tricks up it’s sleeves but losing the blue March was brutal to them

This eats mono black for breakfast! A nice trade off because it can struggle against mono red (especially on the draw)

It's definitely a trade off applying more pressure vs control and midrange due to skrelv's hive. Brotherhood's end does take the damage from the heartfire hero and scamp but it still gets rid of them + lightning helix is a savior. It's definitely up to the user on what they like. Honestly, you could hedge and a bit and cut 2 skrelv's hive for 2 torches. The lockdown can be ran if you don't like skrelv at all, plenty of wiggle room!

I generally feel the same, expend 7 would be juussssst perfect without being broken! 8 is just a tad bit out of reach for most cases. I still wish the raccoons had a “boss” creature instead of being early rampers but hey, still not bad 🦝

With a deck full of colored spells (esp lightning helix) it gets very aggravating navigating it 🤣 Control is a pain in the ass, but I think I learn enough to. With Mabel and rockface we have enough haste that we don’t have to overcommit to the board, forcing them to use their sweepers on single creatures! Appreciate the engagement my friend. It goes a long way! 🥳

The Wandering Emperor is just so damn good! xD I would for sure throw 2-3 in this build. It was so splashable and lived through its time. I am glad it's gone honestly!

Trust me, I get it lol Swiftspear is so damn annoying! It also has a long ways until it gets rotated out. Fortunately the mice give us an excuse to not run it and go with some other creatures instead :)
