isnt there also driftloon?
Yup! This video was made when driftloon wasn’t played as much but it’s definitely seeing play now!
strong deck
What if they have a manaphy that protects all card on bench
So this video is about 7 months old, but with the current list you just simply don't use the Scream Tail due to snipe the bench when they play Manaphy. With how the meta is, Manaphy isn't played as much as it used to be. But if it is, rely on other attackers such as Drifloon or attack straight forward with your Gardevoir ex.
niceeeeeeeeeeeee
How do you make this style of video? Like the graphics and all that. Do you just do it in an editor or something?
Videos like this are made in Adobe Premiere. They're usually done by my editor who I hire per video, or done by myself. Usually if I need a graphic made, I make it myself in Adobe Photoshop, hire an artist to make it for me, or use stock images.
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon Ah thank you! Very good to know, it's a very helpful type of video
How come you didn't use Landen Kaetler's Miraidon Ex list? 14 energy is not enough for the electric generators to work...
Totally could see using Landen’s first place list from CA Regionals, but decided to use Edward Kuang’s list from the Toronto Regionals as it’s the highest placing list for the most recent regionals with an adjusted meta that leans very anti-Miraidon. Mostly when I choose lists for this type of content I use limitless’s day 2 listings to decide which ones to go with to fairly represent the meta at the time of the video. As the meta has been a bit unkind of Miraidon, only 2 day 2’d in Toronto so it was either one with 14 or 15 energies at 71st or 156th place. Hope that clarifies it a bit! Here’s the list of day 2 breakdowns for Miraidon: limitlesstcg.com/cards/SVI/81/decklists
No dragapult iron thorns?
Deck is super good, honestly I probably overlooked it since my last video was on it. But definitely deserves a spot on the list.
Losing right away to Lugia with Iron thorns feels bad 😅
Yeah it was a big feels bad 😭I figured if leave it in though since it almost never happens.
@Voiddyn-Pokemon yeah you gave that Lugia player the justice they so greatly needed 🤣
Why not Future Miraidon Ex instead of Iron Hands?
This list is a little old, but the reason you use Iron Hands EX over Future Miraidon EX because of the attack that gives you extra prizes.
Ok so im a long time MTG player. I've never been a meta slave and have always loved playing things I have just enjoyed. This is probably the first time I've looked up a deck. While I may be new, this seems like a deck that can teach me a lot about the game in a quick, although very slow, way. Im not a control player in MTG, but I think I might be one in Pokemon... Thank you very much sir.
I’m a long time MTG player myself! This deck is definitely worth it to learn the metas. While this would be considered a stall/control deck in MTG, control is a bit different in PTCG. Still would be what you’re looking for though!
@Voiddyn-Pokemon oh a fellow MTG player?! The one thing that kept me from diving into Pokemon was the lack interaction. But this deck let's me get into the deck and take their resources. I've got an idea for something that kinda sorta plays like this, but is actively wanting to punched in the face.
on the flipside, I am a new player who was always an Esper Control mtg player and thus am finding myself drawn to this deck haha
Absolutely love playing Esper control. Glad you found some love in this list!
Is this still current ? I’m looking through cards trying to figure out what’s still legal for standard
This is still current, Pokémon TCG has not announced the 2025 rotation date yet. But if it helps G on will be standard after that date. From todays date F is still standard.
as a noob this deck feels broken
Totally get how the deck feels broken. Charizard is very consistent and strong. If you enjoy it play the heck out of it!
What’s the gardevoir deck list you use
This is an older video, but if you’re looking to play Gardevoir here’s the best performing list currently: Pokémon: 18 4 Ralts ASR 60 4 Kirlia SIT 68 2 Gardevoir ex SVI 86 1 Rellor TEF 23 1 Rabsca TEF 24 1 Drifloon SVI 89 1 Scream Tail PAR 86 1 Munkidori TWM 95 1 Klefki SVI 96 1 Radiant Greninja ASR 46 1 Fezandipiti ex SFA 38 Trainer: 34 4 Iono PAL 185 4 Arven OBF 186 1 Professor Turo's Scenario PAR 171 1 Boss's Orders PAL 172 4 Buddy-Buddy Poffin TEF 144 3 Ultra Ball SVI 196 2 Nest Ball SVI 181 2 Earthen Vessel PAR 163 2 Super Rod PAL 188 2 Counter Catcher PAR 160 1 Hisuian Heavy Ball ASR 146 1 Rare Candy SVI 191 1 Night Stretcher SFA 61 1 Unfair Stamp TWM 165 2 Bravery Charm PAL 173 1 Technical Machine: Evolution PAR 178 1 Artazon PAL 171 1 Collapsed Stadium BRS 137 Energy: 8 7 Psychic Energy SVE 13 1 Darkness Energy SVE 15
Would you perhaps get mkre value out of Prime Catcher? Allowing you to put what Pokémon you need in the active and put a choice pf Pokémon in front of it?
Totally can see a version of the list that plays prime catcher instead! You might want to run an extra penny or turo in the list over a boss.
I love glass cannons
Love how simple the deck list is instead of making it complicating with Thorns
Yeah, the deck is meant to be a pretty straight-forward strategy. Thorns just made it too complex for decisions.
Have you tried fighting roaring moon ex deck with milotic ex?
Yup! So the way you win that matchup is to play Noivern ex and try to get a Mist Energy onto it ASAP. It's really rough, but either you do that or stick Mimikyu into the active while you stall.
It’s better than use 2 Bravery Charm ? Should i use 2 Cape instead ?
This is a bit outdated now, but last I checked they’re still using 2 bravery charms. Since Gardevoir doesn’t want to give up 2 prizes more than once.
This is a bit outdated now, but last I checked they’re still using 2 bravery charms. Since Gardevoir doesn’t want to give up 2 prizes more than once.
thank you for that feedback!
Appreciate it! I hope it's helpful!
this is not a controldeck. its a stun deck.
I have a walking wake ex and a water energy for teraphagos in my deck
In the game 2 you could have won just by benching the moltres, magma for gouging fire and manual attach, retreat and heat blast for 70 dmg
True! Sometimes it's hard for me to see Moltres as an attacker rather than a static ability. I have that same issue with Zapdos in Miraidon. Thanks for the heads up!
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon I was refering to moltres ability to boost Gouging Fire heat blast from 60 to 70 dmg. But you made it work either way!
Oh shoot! Yup! Sorry read your message wrong. Yeah, I really need to track the Moltres damage boost better.
You are so good at explaining as you are playing with your calm demeanor and voice!
Thank you so much! I appreciate that.
Yea yours vids are great. But that constant clicking is annoing especialy on headphones.
Noted! I’ll try to keep the clicking down on it!
Man I wish curry was still legal...
I love the explanation in your games. I am relatively experienced with pokemon but having someone explain how to pilot the deck and analyzing the choices really helps me understand what threats to look out for. I built a paper hydrapple but have been struggling a bit so this video gives me some new light in how to tweak and adjust for these meta decks. Thanks for the awesome video!
Glad that I was able to help! My goal is to try to make my choices clear. I've decided that I'd try to talk stuff out a bit more.

I play snorlax, and I need help, where I play there are a lot of lua bang and ancient box, and they use pechanut ex, it's impossible to win, I've already tried using mist energy on mimikyu, but if he puts baby leo on the table and pechanut doesn't have the What to do, would you know of a deck to play around this? Thank you very much, hugs from Brazil
Let me talk to my snorlax player friends and see what I can do to get you help!
Great video! Just started playing a few days ago and this is very helpful in getting me clued in on what's good from the latest set :)
Glad it could help! I have one really big error in this video Fezandipiti ex is the best card in the set haha.
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon it is a fabulous card!
LOL at the first concede. Thanks for the vid
I Freacking love Future Paradox Pokemon Once i learned about this box i knew i needed to use it
Paradox Pokémon are SO cool. Some of my favorite designs. Hope you enjoy the deck!
I love Charizard EX decks and this is one of the best. Thanks for the info and the good ideas.

I can check later for you today, but I believe it should be in the in game shop! Just look through some of the previous stuff in the store on the Live Client! It should be where you buy packs.

@@Voiddyn-PokemonThanks 🎉
This is my favorite dragon pokemon and my favorite deck to play.
I absolutely love this deck. I was supposed to play like 3 games for footage with it and I ended up playing it for like 3 hours. Oops!
Nice one! I think a really good shout is the experience share tool and Pidgoet Ex is a MASSIVE help for Greninja to set up just right!
I'll be honest, I was a hater for a long while on the EXP share. I enjoyed the Pidgeot, but dang I never knew how good it was until I played it! Glad you enjoy it!
I can never get this deck to work for some reason. Idk. I see people do well with it and it just leaves me scratching my head lol
I totally get it. The deck is so weird to get going, you have to be very loose with the gameplan.
Couldn't find "earth blast" or "origin roar" on those cards.
This was back when we had the direct translation on the cards before they were printed. They've been localized now. As long as you find the new printings of the cards it should be all set! 👍
THE MAIN ONE IS ROARING MOON!!!!!!!!
Yup!
I am playing on TCG Live and building this in real life. When I get well, I am going to locals and give it a go. I am still fairly new. I struggle with not putting all my eggs in 1 basket. Any advice for this pokemon dad?
Yup! My advice would be to setup 2 Metangs and 2 Dialga VStars, if you go all in on one it’s OK but start prepping the second one. If a rival EX’s HP is too high to one shot, it’s ok to get it to the point of two-shotting.
@@Voiddyn-Pokemon when I have a Charizard, it is hard to play when they get set up.
@@Voiddyn-Pokemonwould you run 2 70 Beldum and 2 60 Beldum. I currently have 3 60s but found a 70 in a booster pack.
Playing ancient box today! Yay
Dont forget giratina vstar only 2 energy 280
