Santa Sings Happy Birthday to Dan " OLD FART " Heller
Love it
1. All creatures of our God and King, Lift up your voice and with us sing, Alleluia! Alleluia! Thou burning sun with golden beam, Thou silver moon with softer gleam, Alleluia! Alleluia! [Chorus] Alleluia! Oh, praise Him! Alleluia! 2. Thou rushing wind that art so strong, Ye clouds that sail in heav’n along, Alleluia! Alleluia! Thou rising morn, in praise rejoice; Ye light of evening, find a voice, Alleluia! Alleluia! 3. Thou flowing water, pure and clear, Make music for thy Lord to hear, Alleluia! Alleluia! Thou fire so masterful and bright, That gives to man both warmth and light, Alleluia! Alleluia! 4. Dear Mother Earth, who day by day Unfoldest blessings on our way, Alleluia! Alleluia! The flow’rs and fruits that in thee grow, Let them his glory also show, Alleluia! Alleluia!
1 *All creatures worship God most high, lift up your voice in earth and sky, alleluia, alleluia! Thou burning sun with golden beam, thou silver moon with softer gleam, O sing ye, O sing ye, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia! 2 Thou rushing wind that art so strong, ye clouds that sail in heav’n along, alleluia, alleluia! Thou rising morn in praise rejoice, ye lights of evening, find a voice, O sing ye, O sing ye, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia! 3 Thou flowing water, pure and clear, make music for thy God to hear, alleluia, alleluia! Thou fire so masterful and bright, that givest all both warmth and light, O sing ye, O sing ye, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia! 4 Dear mother earth, who day by day, unfoldest blessings on our way, alleluia, alleluia! The flow’rs and fruits that in thee grow, let them God’s glory also show, O sing ye, O sing ye, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia! 5 And ev’ryone, with tender heart, forgiving others, take your part, alleluia, alleluia! Ye who long pain and sorrow bear, sing praise and cast on God your care, O sing ye, O sing ye, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia! 6 And thou, most kind and gentle death, waiting to hush our final breath, alleluia, alleluia! Thou leadest home the child of God, as Christ before that way hath trod, O sing ye, O sing ye, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia! 7 Let all things their Creator bless, and worship God in humbleness, alleluia, alleluia! To God all thanks and praise belong! Join in the everlasting song: O sing ye, O sing ye, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!
Now is eternal life, If risen with Christ we stand, In him to life reborn, And holden in his hand; No more we fear death’s ancient dread, In Christ arisen from the dead. Man long in bondage lay, Brooding o’er life’s brief span; Was it, O God, for nought, For nought, thou madest man? Thou art our hope, our vital breath; Shall hope undying in death? And God, the living God, Stooped down to man’s estate; By death destroying death, Christ opened wide life’s gate. He lives, who died; he reigns on high; Who lives in him shall never die. Unfathomed love divine, Reign thou within my heart; From thee nor depth nor height, Nor life nor death can part; My life is hid in God with thee, Now and through all eternity.
The grey catbirds color is cool. That is an interesting color grey! And the Oriole is so vibrant!
Our Choir did this with violin and percussion as well... and I thought I'm always sitting in the wrong place of the sanctuary to hear well... but no, all I can make out is Hosanna Hosanna here too.
What state and city was this?
Holy Moly!!! That is the most fantastic footage!!! I am so impressed! I wonder what distance you were from the owl. I just saw one tonight, at Glacial Park, in northern Illinois. It looked just like that, right down to the marsh grass it was flying over. Great job!!! Helped in confirming ID.
People never notice just how vital woodpeckers are to the forest ecosystem. Their red heads are facinating
Great job, Lisa! Super proud of you and the whole choir!
I need to restock mine so I can see if this one will take the trip across the street!
Amazing rendition of this song!
This is Marianne your neighbor! :D this is a name I use for gaming conventions. :) great video!
Great performance (especially for such a small choir), but what is that hissing noise?
Julie Schultz It’s a rain stick.
Well done! especially to the soloist. It's a lovely carol that we have used in our church choir in Scotland. It's a pity that there was such a babble of voices in the background. It seemed very bad mannered!
Just found out how to pronounce this after 40 years.....Toe-hee.....I always said it like owie...like when you have a boo boo...lol.
Beautiful singing and I'm proud of My Sister and niece singing in this!
thank You very much I'm proud of Her too!:)
Thanks for posting this. It was a great help in learning the base line.
'Marvel's' a glorious hymn full of joy: the lyrics fairly burst w/excitement. "Before the marvel of this night, adoring, fold your wings & bow, then tear the sky across with light! And with your news the world endow...." It should NEVER drag. There should be a crescendo on 'tear the sky apart with light', & on each refrain 'sing peace, sing peace etc. swell to mf, then double pp the last 'sing gift of peace'. This could've been quite a pretty song but sadly, it's painfully slow & expressionless.
Im gonna sing this song in my choir :D
Nice! The back row sounded fantastic!
its to fast :(
hey, you've got a great choir there. Nice work, Kay. They're professional. you ought to have ur folks belt out a bunch of anthems and put them on You Tube (if you haven't already), including "A Mighty Fortress".
I sang this in church today and it was so moving! Great song. Great recording.
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (October 25), I played this for Sunday School Assembly. It was to the tune, PATMOS, composed by William H. Havergal. I chose this hymn because our Sunday School lesson was from Mark 10: 17-31, which was where the rich young prince asked Jesus what he must do to inherit eternal life. We know what happened when Jesus told him what he had to do. Just thought I'd post.
