I don’t entirely think Sonic 1 sucks, but I won’t argue, Sonic 1 on mobile kinda sucks, the ads are almost as bad as usual in mobile games, and for some reason you start with only one life, and continues are just useless, they should be used to restart special stages like coins in Sonic Origins or used to go back to the last checkpoint when getting a game over, getting a game over doesn’t even have you restart from the beginning or the entire zone, it just sends you back to the main menu and just has you restart the act, and when you get a game over, if you were hit by an enemy or Dr. Robotnik, it asks you if you want to play and ad so you don’t die, but the same cannot be said for bottomless pits and being crushed, and even if you have lives, the same thing should pop up for if you wanna watch and ad to not die, it’s not very good on mobile.

even if the game was terrible but the entirety of it's music is just pure perfection. I would love it if Banjo-Threeie came out instead of nuts and bolts but only had this selection of the music.

Growing up with Banjo Kazooie and Tooie, i naturally hopped on the bandwagon that was hating this game back when it first came out. Then, I ended up getting the game myself and i fell in love with it! I still get just as much nostalgia chills from this game's soundtrack, if not more so than the original games'. It's sad to think that this game has been shunned and forgotten just because it was branded as a Banjo game. Its bad reception unfortunately single handedly killed the series... But hey, we finally got our boy in Smash after all these years!
