Bolt swap and Yamaha R1M sound check
Had to change the Pro bolts. I was not happy with the way they looked. Then decided to test out the new GoPro 12, still playing with the settings

R1M titanium bolts heads were a little too wide, did not fit

After ordering these titanium bolt the flange on the head was just a tiny bit too wide so I had to trim it down by 3 mm to get it to fit in the Vortx rearsets. Onboard ride coming soon. 
GSX-R1000 street to track bike

I don’t ride in the winter but if it’s 50° I take her out around my house for a half hour ride just to maintain the bike . Going nice and easy because these tires do not grip at all in cold weather

Another winter engine warm up getting ready for spring . Going nice and slow even when accelerating. Traction on these tires is very low when they are very cold.

How is that race seat compared to the oem in comfort? I know it's a race seat but just curious...
Race seats are hard but I am used to it. The reason is so you can feel what’s going on between your suspension and tire traction. You get a better feeling and feedback. It’s also 10mm lower and 20mm narrower and lighter. which definitely makes you feel more in the bike.

Yeah, I love it. I will never switch for another. I like the clear because the bottom part is tinted so it protects the gauge cluster from direct sun. I’m glad you got one. 👍👍

I put an order in August and did not arrive until December. When I called them about a month later, that’s when they told me that these are new and they actually were still working on them although they were already promoting them but won’t be available to the end of the year. So I was like damn.

You better not sell that bike. Yamaha have already discontinued the r1 and R1M after 2024
I saw that!!! That’s crazy. That means that who ever owns one that’s I really good shape is going to get a lot of money for it if he sells it😎. And mine only has 4600k on it and it’s a 2019.
They only discontinued the R1 in Europe. You can still buy in R1 in every other state including Cali…

By now i'm still an underaged student who has no idea to make money living in a place where a Yamaha R1 costs over 35.000$ and the average salary is 200$ a month.

Bro i have qsn how rear wheel moving when u start the bike. Bike in neutral but rear wheel move plz explain bro if u have time ❤
Well besides ceramic bearings in rear wheel,clean captive rear spacers and knowing that your rear brake caliper is working properly, when you do a cold start there is some “drag” in the driveline. Even in neutral there is some (a tiny amount) of pressure to run the rear wheel, due to oil movement in the transmission as there is always one gearset spinning from it's connection to the crankshaft, and the multi-plate oil-bath clutch.

How do you like the CUP 2 tires on the street?
I love them. On track I run what’s pretty much recommend 22r 30.5 front cold. For the street I set them at 28r 32 front but definitely don’t push them hard on turns on the street unless I feel that the tire temperature is pretty good and the asphalt is hot like a nice summer day

Definitely recommend them. Set them at 22r 30.5f and I highly recommend tire warmers. It allows you to get on throttle sooner and you avoid heat cycles

What do you mean no swing arm? I'm new and thought the swing arm was what held the back wheel.
He means no long extended swing arm in the back. These bikes were designed to be on a road course not a drag strip with a long swing arm.
