Baofeng Temple: A Volcano That Became a Temple
Baofeng Temple in Foshan.
Built in 990 during the Song Dynasty (907-1227).
Located at Xiqiao Mountain Scenic Area in Foshan City, Guangdong Province. With over 1,000 years history, Nanhai Kwan-yin Temple is also one of the top attractions in Foshan City.
Xiqiao Mountain, one of Guangdong Province's four famous mountains. This stunning national forest park, located just 68 km from Guangzhou, is a dormant volcano boasting picturesque scenery, rich cultural heritage, and 72 magnificent peaks, including the towering Dacheng Peak. I paid cash for bullet train, taxi, bus and food. For metro, I used Alipay to pay from my Visa card. That was because I didn't have my Alipay or WeChat wallets activated by then.
