Much better. On msfs 20 on average 35 fps and in msfs 24 I locked it at 50fps.

I us FCR V5 latest version should work in msfs 2024. The build in FCR is really bad together with the Fenix. The externak recorder version works much better

P3d is no more in my pc and thus there won’t be any videos anymore. I really hope that we can get finally some more planes in 2025. But I doubt it that the 757 or 787 will be getting released in 2025 let alone the 767. 767 is one of my favourites airlines

It is hard to say which settings I have via the TH-cam comment sections. But most important is that I have it locked at 50fps and not everything is on ultra. So it is a mix of both medium, high and ultra

I had just Copied the folder into my community and it worked without an issue. I am sorry to hear that it is not working for you. But I have no clue why it won’t work for you

@@Simflyerofficial Figured it out now. Latest update from 2024 disabled it, so had to manually Enable in Market Place, and not try to copy to community folder either, as it was bought in msfs.

I lock at 50. If I unlock and let frame gen do it’s work I get between 80 and 150. But fps is not important for flightsim 😄

But 20 fps is really low indeed. But then you have either a machine which is way to old, or you have your settings way to high.

@@Simflyerofficial yes that would be helpful if you did a video about your settings etc as i for one are struggling with performance issues with 2024, although my systems specs are not up to your standards, i am running a RTX 4070 with a Ryzen 5 7600x

I am not sure how AMD cards are. But to be honest i dont get why you want 60+ fps always. I even lock at 50 fps as you wont utilise the high fps in terms of visual. I am going for smoothness above fps as this is more important. But with DLSS or the counterpart of AMD you can manage it quite easy with you specs.

@ alright I’m on 30 frames on my old pc so I didn’t know. I don’t even know what 50 frames looks like yet. I’m thinking capping at 60 would be good because I’m using a trackir

The video you have watched is 50fps hahaha and I am using Tobbii head/eye tracker as well. I used this combo on MSFS 2020 with a fps cap of 40fps. In 2024 is 50 easy achievable due to better usage of the cpu in 2024.

Hmm it can be that something is binned to a parking brake. Msfs 2024 has such a strange binding profile automatically loaded as default. Or what I really rarely had in MSFS 2020 is that I needed to double click on M which I had binded to the parking brake. I needed to do that despite the parking brake in the cockpit was released. But I guess it has something to do with a bind. This can be also within your mouse of hardware even. It should not be only applicable to your keyboard

You mean the speed ups in the video? That is just postproduction. I never use sim rate increases in the sim.

They are the payware Flytampa EKCH and the payware KEWR. They got a but more realistic due to filters from nvidia

I just noticed when you were taking to the gate, there was a plane being loaded. Any mods for that ? I am currently using msfs2020

@ametsopnafets1740 nvidia filters work. As a matter of fact my sim is recorder with them enabled ☺️. De default lighting is much better then 2020 but still it is so far from perfect. The nvidia filters do have a hard time to adjust them correctly. There is still a very hazy feeling on 2024. However I flew today with the 77F in 2020 and my gosh I get used to 2024 so quickly. Especially the performance in 2024 are amazing.

@ it is indeed a nice sim. I did a few flights and they all went very well. Nice that you got the filters working. Do you have the NVidia app or still GeForcw Experience? I read on the internet that quite a few people don’t get them working with the new app either. I really need visual enhancement with 2024 because even the overall lighting is better, it just not evens the visuals with Atmos etc running in 2020. So I think Ill keep flying 2020 for some time 😁

I use the nvidia app. The trick is to update your drivers. The latest drivers are amongs other made for msfs 2024, and enabled the filters. I am looking forward to Atmos in 2024. Never bought it in 2020 as 2024 was around the corner and did not wanted it to buy it twice.

I dont have P3d for years anymore. Went fully to msfs mid 2022. I am sorry there wont be any P3D video anymore. Only when they can do Some ground breaking development in the future.

No, only Nvidia filter. Atmos is amazing tool I have seen. But it came to late for me for msfs 2020. Will see if it works in 2024 then I will buy it.

That is not a bad idea. Maybe can do from departure till somewhere till TOC or above clouds and then from TOD or above clouds till gate

No it is the default sounds from the fenix. The video is even recorder a long time ago. They even improved the sounds since this recording and the current build

The Fenix does not need a soundpack. One of the few plans in the sim that this could be said for.
