Have you done an install for you roof solar panel by any chance
Great video Tom, I was going to have a hunt around the diy shops to look for some modifiable bits myself so you've saved me a lot of legwork. Will look forward to making this thanks for all the tips.
I made one slightly different, but the result during a windy night was the same..ha ha!.. I made a bigger one which goes over the van too, acting like a safari roof. But awnings are not for windy days, even the proper ones. I have a Vivaro and we are both okay with our slimline awnings, but in France the Autoroute class 1 charge is limited to 2 metres height and our vans are 1.94, so only 6 cm to play with. The Vivaro/Trafic is the best van for a campervan. My daughter has a self build Trafic.
Yeah~you hared insane uploading~wanna a promo?- see ya!!Tom- 📽
3,000 meters is about the limit I also experienced, requires a clear line of sight and altitude.

😎😎👍👍Cheers from Canada
From Canada. Wow.. Thank you. love to visit your country one day
Not bad 😎😎👍👍
Great video 🤝😎
fcc or ce mode?
That the question?
Fcc/ce?????? Not a clue mate. LOL... not changed any settings straight out of the box. might of gone further. Didn't expect it to go beyond the trees way in the distance. that's when I lost signal. not really been out to try again with a clear view.
@@tomfezz What country were you flying in?
@@philipnaughton329 I'm in the UK bud
@@tomfezz If you in UK I think it switches to CE but not 100% sure, so 3km is actually really good for CE connection. FCC is usually a lot better but don't think its allowed in Europe.
Amazing
thank you
Yo-this is insnae ~ =))
Great video, but how do the top bars attach to the leg bars? A picture would be great, thanks
Great video I’ve got all parts to put it together but living in Scotland means it’s not going to be finished this year as it’s been peeing it down for weeks Any chance you could do a video showing how trap is fitted where side poles fit into end bar ,only thing I’ve done so far is fit poles into c channel but I used some alloy tubes to fit over bolts to save plastic handles of poles
Great video Tom!
Hi what size trap did you use please ?😎🏴
I was gonna use a 3x3 Tarp. But I ended getting some Canvas material from eBay. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WATERPROOF-FABRIC-4oz-CANVAS-COATED-Outdoor-Tarpaulins-Covers-Awnings-Strong-/273291191585?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
PROPER JOB FELLA ! Down to earth ,no falseness like the idea , used to throw a pegged out ground sheet over our old Transit van two poles ,roped & pegged down , will be giving the try . Keep well & safe .☮️❤️👍👨🏻🌾🐑✊️😁
Cheers mate. I used a tarp and two washing line poles first. was a bit of a faff getting it out and setting up. But this idea can be left on van and set up in a matter of minutes
where did you get the poles?
wicks, they also sell them in Homebase
Where the he'll did you get that c-channel tried most of central Scotland and can't get it
I got it from wicks. you should be able to get it from Homebase or any hardware shop, I was gonna use two 90 deg angled alloy and just bolt or rivet them together put I found that c-channel, good luck buddy
Great video Tom! I’m just converting a Citroen berlingo to a mini camper and love this idea for a canopy - thanks for sharing 👍
Zajebiste to 👍🤓
Great video - easy to follow and not too distracting. One of the better awning designs for diy as well! Although you mention in video, a great addition to diy vids would be a parts list. Thanks!
Great Job, Keep up the good work pal! Cheers dx
I've watched several canopy vids lately and it is so cool to see capable kindred spirits share their common sense which is almost universal amongst alternative dwellers .my challenge is to keep mine switchable, fully adjustabe easily transferred from crv to overland trailer with rooftop tent! so i think 6 adjustable poles will be the way i go.
thank you!
Looks familiar
Well done fella. I'm gonna copy your idea.
KM Demos I did the same flight plan three times. One at normal speed, one recorded at slow motion and one using the hyperlapse setting. I have not shown the hyperlapse on this video. (I had it set wrong and the whole flight plan was over in a matter of seconds) Towards the end of the video you can see the cars going by at a slower speed
I'm trying to understand this video. Did the drone follow the same first flight plan but at a slower speed? or did you just slow down the video recorded from the first flight plan? In other words if a car was driving by that tree will we see it driving in slow motion or will it be driving at regular speed but the drone itself will be moving around very slow?
Hallo !! Beautiful ❤️😄🎵 ANAFI ❤️
Stunning footage!
thank you. still getting used to it. weather has been a bit naff lately.
love this
the slow mo bit is one of the funniest things i have ever seen ,
