DIY Foundry and Aluminum Casting

This is a refractory cement foundry based on an online tutorial that used plaster. I have done about 12 castings so far and there is no sign of decay. Overall very happy with it.

It was intended to convert pressurized air into electricity. Very inefficient but fun. I got average of 6.3V and ~100mA.

Hie! Thx for sharing this. Could you please tell me where I could find such a turbine, please. Searching on the internet but didn't find something comparable to buy. Thank you again .

Good work! What is gas pressure and which gas you are using? Also can show us the coil design you setup in this video? Thanks for sharing

I have that similar issue with my converted computer power supply. I replace the fan Thinking by upgrading it, it will perform better but instead I got the same result the only thing I really did instead i have upgraded it by adding a plug-in connector, It might as well not even have a fan in there at all. So what I have discovered by doing a experiment with the fan it was running off of a 5 volt line making it perform like that. So what I done is by hooking it up that same fan up to a 12 volt line and after that I got the results that I want it. You should try hooking up your fan up to a 12 volt line in your power supply.

+Essa Alawadi Hi Essa, the component to detect vibrations is called a buzzer. It is normally to make sounds like those beeps that come out of the PC towers similar to this bit.ly/24TPjQT. The arduino I'm using is an Arduino UNO. Good luck!

***** Paco de Lucia is great also (watch?v=hxbDLnaAvAE) not just to listen to but to watch his effortless virtuoso performance. As to how I got here, hehe, that's convoluted. I saw your knock-activated-lock video before this. Very clever work!
