Yea I grew up fishing that spot. It used to be a awesome spot for big cats until the summer it completely dried up

We fish two mile bridge sometimes. Also by the dam but we use a kayak to yak lines out. I would recommend fresh local bait. Or if ur going for channels and numbers of fish get some punch bait from the tackle store.

Yea I did it for around a yr .even did a few rivers .definitely wasn't the funniest thing 😂

@Wellfedfisherman I saved up and got the Xi 3 . And it's been awesome since then.i should have got the xi5 for spot lock but it can be added own later. I'm 6"4 and like 240 and some change. But can stand up in it . And I've had it way overloaded on a camping trip once. It is heavy and huge .so that's the biggest down side.

Im 62 but 350ish to many years driving a truck. But im also going to duck hunt out of mine

@Roy Flowers its sky point . The office lady was super rude. And came later to charge us for additional things ,which she didn't mention. Also made us pay for 3 days when we only stayed 2 up front . She wouldn't let us pay for only 2

We do pretty good on our home lake with a small population of crappie. We will be fishing other nearby lakes this year with better populations of crappie.

I absolutely love hitting the creek when they are in it. Also the sandy run is awesome as well
