With the time change in Europe we missed the 1920 races, but got the races at 2120 Race Detail #158446 we typically race only on Tuesday night.

I do not have a CSA campaign, YET. LOL As soon as I finish the Union campaign I will be starting a CSA campaign. I enjoy playing and don't rush through. I love the process not just the end result. Might be a while before I get to it.

Thanks for the feedback!!! Initial walk-through are you referring to the start up and the mission briefing prior to taxi? I try to hold my head and hence the VR steady, but during start up since I use the auto feature I look around. I'll try to do that movement slower. @siedzihector9938 I'm always looking for tips!! I play these as a normal person would first picking up the game. I don't spend a ton of time researching and try to stay away from "hint" videos as it takes the "surprise" out of the game. ​@@CAPTJAKE i finished campaing few times. Once even i avoided all land battles, because they are quite boring for me (it just lower income and xp). Such tips i created by my observations and some historical knowledge. Only once i googled some tips about ship design after my first campaign and i noticed, that players overall ends with similar conlusions about only carron carronade ships (max firepower) or only Woolwich ships (the most universal guns) or mixed ones. For example you can find a ship 4th rate Razee Frigate. It's some broken type of Super Heavy Frigate from history made by cutting down outdated 64-gun 3rd rate by one deck, so they created quite oversized frigate that can carry only heavy guns. You can equip it with 18pdr + 24pdr Woolwich cannons, what is insane for frigate. For close range it may be 42pdr + 68pdr Carron carronades, what gives it at close range firepower of average 1st rate ship. Or You can mix 42pdr Carron carronades with 24pdr Woolwich for mixed purposes. Classic 5th Rate Heavy Frigates with 9pdr+ 18pdr Woolwich have not chance with them. For heavier Ships like Ardent 3rd rate you can mix 24dpr + 42pdr + 68pdr Carron Carronades or 9pdr + 18dpr + 32pdr Woolwich Some players also experiment with Desagulier + French re-bored + Borgard's Long for sniper ships with high accuracy and penetration or to use Congrave Carronades instead some lighter Woolwich for more dps at cost of range, since they shoot faster heavier cannonballs with similar penetration for similar weight. Upgrades and crew skills are also important. For close range Carron Carronade build you can take then Gun Carriage + Boarding Equipment + Reload + Speed Sails + Copper Sheating and train crew with morale + boarding + boarding to capture everything with similar or lower size without issues. I should point in that moment, that Grape shots to reduce enemy crew are more effective, when you will reduce enemy armor (red bars on ship). With reduced armor grape shots doing more damage per hit. For Woolwich cannon build i prefer instead Gun Carriage + Reload + Armor + Spread + Damage(risky)/Speed Sails upgrades for more effective firepower and survivability with crew trained for Moale + Gunnery + Gunnery The most hated part of that game are land battles by me i would love to see that game as only naval battle game with random generated unlimited campaign :D You can win nearly everything by spamming Grenadiers > Marines > Fusiliers. Artillery can help a lot, but take one supply wagon with the. They eat a lot of supplies.. For some reason artillery unit sometimes do not uses horses during transport and slow down whole army. Maybe its a bug. Anyway you need at least one artillery to deal up with that sneaky skirmishers, because your own skirmishers arent as that good as combination of line infantry and artillery.

@@CAPTJAKE saw your video on the discord and yea the efficiency of union soldiers is very low because even if you get them good you’ll always get useless recruits further down the campaign. I guess you just have to wait for the wounded soldiers to come back

"Come and play" events only default setups are allowed?" No you can change your setup. RCO allows setup changes, I just note that in the conditions as that is how we run the series. When we hosted our own series, default setups were only allowed. Hope you are enjoying the RCO hosted series as much as we are!! Hope you can join us, we race for enjoyment and fun!!

Vortex Ring, (a flight condition also sometimes called 'settling with power' or 'power settling') is a flight condition in which a helicopter that is receiving power from its engine(s) loses main rotor lift and subsequently experiences loss of control. The down wash created by your main rotor blades circles back up into your rotor system causeing the loss of lift. The helo doesn't have the power to get out of the state. In the cockpit it is seen by a sudden extreme increase in your decent rate to landing. VSI shows 300 feet per minute decent then suddenly typicality over 1500 feet per minute decent. The best way to recover is to decrease power lower collective, and push the cyclic forward and fly out of it. Because of this it is important to realize you are in that state very early so you have the altitude to recover...
