Bonnets and Breeches Dance Society were thrilled to host out 5th tea dance on Sunday 7th April 2024. With about 40 people it was a fabulous success and we all spent the afternoon dancing some wonderful historical dances and ate a lot of cake! In December 2023, we performed at Belvoir Castle as part of their “Twelve Days of Christmas” event. We danced a set of 4 dances each day. Our first dance of the set was “Christmas Eve” by Sancho in 1805. Music by Green Ginger. Is this an annual ball?
Hi, I believe this was the first regency ball held at the Lincoln Assembly Rooms, but from what was suggested it sounds like they hope to repeat it next year so it may be worth keeping an eye on the Assembly Rooms’ website and facebook page. Best wishes, B&B
