Timing of both block and non-block citical/issen on Gorr enemies are total BS th-cam.com/video/pkLjxQdF1nI/w-d-xo.html. I can only do it by doing critical on another enemy and chain it it them which is rare. Other than that I just avoid them. Even this pro gamer have an issue with them

as soon as u crit, push square button(normal attack), when u crit again push square again and so on, max is 7 crits, if u spam the button it wont work u have to time it perfectly each time

You don't need to crit the archers for them to die, only melee enemies(I tried to used Bow and Arrow in Issen on archers, still works)!
in terms of speedrunning, its too bad this game doesnt realy have movement tech. sliding and chain crit warps is realy all you got. no glitches or sequence breaks either. though in terms of the game itsself, that just means the devs did a bangin job coding this game
To do critical hit do i need to hit enemies berofe they attack or after? Its so confusing for me
