Finally, I found someone with the same catfish that I have! I just have a question, how much are these worth?
Frankly I have no idea about its actual costs, it looks like is not that common (at LFS) so may be, just may be, it's not that cheap. Mine is a wild-collected specimen (from Ivory Coast, where I lived almost five years).
@@fastfranz4217 oh, interesting. My lfs had it and told me someone had donated it to them and they didnt know anything about the catfish. So they just sold me it for 15 dollars. Hopefully one day, we can find a whole lot more information and care about the catfish. Right now I'm keeping it with a jack dempsey, 12 rainbowfish, and black skirt tetras. Also, I have some anubias nana and jungle val, which is a very strong stem plant that is able to withstand such a higher fish. I'm just happy to see that I'm not the only one with it!

YES, I know!!! That's why I stated " ... has fineshed his "recovery path" and it's, now, ready ro return in wild". At that time I was living in Africa and I got him at local fish-market. Recovering him (he's been hooked by a local fisherman) it's been a long story that, among the rest, needed also the use of antibiotis and other drugs. Any way at the end of the path - eventually - the fish went free (in the Comoe river, ivory Coast).

@Remo Rizzica and Miguel Ruiz: first of all apologises for delayed answer. Then, the fish you asked about (fast swimming one , with yellow fins) is a Trachinotus teraia (likely), it's a jackfish (juvenile) seldom is found ithe brakish areas of the Abidjan lagune.
This is a GT22LC-2, not a GT26.
SITARAIL CC 22006 is a GT22LC-2, not a GT26.

This are very aggressive fish my friend but I love them so much! Check out my pair of f1 female Fasciatus and wild caught Hemichromis elongatus with fry. I also have a pair of wild caught Fasciatus. I enjoy this fish as they get awesome colors!!!
