Yes its been almost exactly one year! The trailer using this BGM was released last year September 10 2023, while the new trailer was released yesterday September 16 2024 ^^

I’ve hyper analyzed the crap out of this trailer and my only thought is that Homura could potentially be the Walpurgisnacht bc she broke the original cycle meaning the origins of the Walpurgisnacht could have changed. Also in the description of the Walpurgisnacht it mentions how it’s nature is that of helplessness and the symbol of a fool going round and round, this could all be pointing to Homura’s character. She’s helpless bc she can’t save Madoka no matter what she tries and she represents the fool who keeps going “round and round” bc she keeps repeating the cycle. It’s also to be noted that one of the Walpurgisnacht’s biggest features are the cogs at the top of it. Clocks have always been associated with Homura. It may be a stretch but it’s possible
I guess its way more than that. I think Homura has taken on the role of Kyuubey. She answers the phone, grants wishes to girls and turns them into magical girls that way.
