    • @danielwilczak7833
      @danielwilczak7833 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve been thinking about doing a 3D printed motor mount for a while. The only problem I can foreshadow is that the threads wouldn’t be able to handle the load. I might go a hybrid approach where I get the shaft machined as a separate part and then it would screw into the 3D printed base. Before I release it, I would have to do some heavy testing before I start selling it. So the short answer is maybe early next year.

      Hey, Rodrigo, thats awesome to hear you bought the adapter! I bought the seat on ebay. ebay.to/42g4hD7. I installed it by buying a small sheet of aluminum from homedepot, drilling 4 holes and attaching it to the original seat plate so that you can still swing the seat up to access the batteries. On my friends crazy cart I 3D printed two adapter brackets with threaded screw inserts. I found the home depot approach was better, cheaper and easier.

    Just printed one of these (took about 28 hours on my slow ender3 clone) and I notice that the XL caster has an offset top mount while the regular is centered, so it looks like you're using the XL for this demo. I believe the XL should be the right choice for the orangatang durians I've got. So just a note that durians likely need the XL print. Any reason for the offset on the XL model or was it just easier to stretch like that? Thanks for the stl and all the info!
