I agree with your choice except I would get the red and black interior
I went back and forth so many times between black and red!

Grats on the car. Ordered mine similar, but with a touch of red on interior. You didn’t talk seat choice. I didn’t want z07 because of the tires, but did want all the aero so will have it put on my AGM. Annoyed the z06 emblem only comes in edge instead of bright red. Are you going to lower it?
Ya know, when I was editing the video I thought I forgot about something! I could have sworn I talked about the GT2 seats. I ordered those. Seemed like a nice compromise between a street / track seat. Oh, and it has carbon fiber 😁 I plan on doing stock drop for the rear and the lowering collars for the front.
That spec is pretty much exactly what I plan to order except I’m going 3LT. Nice build!
Man I can’t wait to see this on the road. It sounds amazing. I literally had a buddy get his the same weekend you did in TN.
It is quite the experience revving it out to 8.5k. I'm constantly impressed by how smooth the power delivery is.

Congrats! She's gorgeous. I'm selling my 458 Spider and just bought a GT350. Seriously considering a Z06 or holding out for the ZR1 as I shift my attention to American performance.
What do you do to afford these types of cars?

@ms-1994 I had a GT350 for a few months and I didn't fall in love. I'm really curious to hear what you think of it. Are you talking about the C8 ZR1? That thing is probably going to be a monster. I'm a vet as well. Thanks for your service. Would love to connect professionally.
@@supercarvet I really like mine, but I was in the mood for a different experience than what the 458 provides. I mean, the 458 is obviously the superior car in almost every way, but it is 4x the price. I love the sound of the GT350 and rowing the gears though. I also love having things like Apple CarPlay, but still analog gauges and switches. The GT350 delivers exactly what it sets out to I think. Yes, the C8 ZR1. I have an application in for the Mustang GTD, but we'll see how that goes...
Congrats on the new car; I’m waiting for my TPW on my z06; I’m in south fl and the rain here is always an issue; but I didn’t know the z07 package tires were that big of an issue; I was kind of regretting not getting the z07 package but not so much after your video; also heard the ride is much harder. I’m on a regular c8 now, I hope the upgrade is worth it. Enjoy yours!
While I've never driven a Z51, I think the engine experience alone would be worth it. I put the suspension in Tour for my daily Z Mode setup. I find it pretty comfortable. I agree with the Z07 sentiment. While impressive, what I've actually going to use the vehicle for, I think the Z06 is more suited for those task.

Think the car won’t let you rev past that anyway. At least that’s what I’ve heard. I don’t know if it’s true. You’ll tprobably will know soon..lol😂
The rev limited is definitely a "soft limit". If you want to be silly and rev it to redline, you can. I made it to 5.5k once or twice during break in on accident. Whoops!

If I may make a suggestion… Get some High Flow cats on that beast ASAP and prepare to be amazed.. You don’t even need an exhaust because the factory one is awesome, little heavy but sounds phenomenal.
Oh for sure! I don't really plan on touching the exhaust system past the cats. I'm looking at a few shops for the high flow cats! Plan on wrenching myself.

@@supercarvet Soul Performance and or FabSpeed cats are the ones you want! And if you really want to take it to the next level by adding 40+ hp to the mid range “where it is needed” you’ve got to get the Eventuri intake !!
@2020matrix8 the Eventuri is on the plans as well! And then perhaps the ported throttle bodies from Soler. Do you have the Eventuri on yours?
@@supercarvet Yep I have the Soler Performance Throttle Bodies and the Eventuri. Also the Titanium Ryft and Soul High Flow cats. With all those mods it’s Added around 60HP and it VERY noticeable. The sound is next level, rivals anything and honestly sounds like a V12 engine now.
