You could freeze it in the original bag, but just use a larger size like gallon/ 4L bag
You could have just put all the zip locked bag back in the original wrapper. All the info would be handy.
wow!
Wow Pete that's amazing 👍👌
Thanks Wayne! It was a lot of work! 😅
I'm tickled to see I''m not the only one that does this. Please consider reusing the bags instead of tossing them in the trash. Saves munnys and is good for the environment. Maybe get a cool little box to store the bags in between use? Thoughts?
Yes, I always wash, dry and reuse the plastic bags a few times before discarding...
Great job! Thank you!
The stuff you had left over you should have let it rise for 1 hour to see the difference. Either way, nice video. Thanks, Jerry
The video is so sweet .How a manly man does the keto bred....and at the end it comes out so good.
Where can we get this product Which I can just follow the information on the bag and do it
Love to see your business prospering, man!
Wow! Well done Peter. Not is the idea exciting, the tech is exciting, and the sustainable, fresh food, natural is just spectacular. Wish we had it in Australia.
I'm always ready for this, life. Are you ready? Still commands me to the dance floor ... (-_-)
That was the biggest block of cheese I’ve ever seen ….not messing you cooking dad ! Your the chef …. Followed your recipe , perfect thank you !
Great stuff @Peter!
Surely Grandma told you to break your eggs into a separate bowl first!! I see you’re squinting a bit. Is it time for glasses, PGB?
I don’t remember getting cooking lessons from either of my Grandmothers Jenna. Which one are you talking about?
@@DadsSimpleMeals Grandma Shepherd.
@@jennatalls3110 I have no idea who you are, perhaps you should email me and explain.
This is me🤣I continue to read the directions 😮
You're creative keep going✨✨✨✨✨.. Sender: your brother (Baraa) from Palestine 🇵🇸🇺🇸
happy to meet you
No butter?!?! Noooooo, need it for that decadent, crispy, buttery yumminess. But I appreciate the health benefits of not using it 😁
Ha ha! Yes your right, adding butter gives the extra yummy evilness 😋. But I try to cut down a bit now that I’m over 50 😅
Don’t give up your day job champ…
Butter is better than margarine!!
Love that protein brand, exactly the one I recommend!:)
Yes it’s great!
That't the most massive piece of cheese I've seen lol
Love it man!
Thanks Nik!
What a waste of time
Nice to hear you again haha
Thanks Michael, hope you are doing well! ?
@@DadsSimpleMeals Yeah, even despite there is no parmesan in Russia anymore hahaha
I started freezing my home made bread weeks ago. Best decision ever. Bread defrost is really fast in room temperature, i didn't even use a Toaster. Once defrost, the bread slice is just as soft as it was after baking. I use to store my bread in Fridge, but was always dry und dhydrated.
Too lengthy video I tuned out...sorry
Nah, you are just too impatient!
5 minutes is just fine...
Hey mate, I am not sure about the bread in Singapore but in Australia, frozen sliced bread is easy to separate even without the toaster trick. I generally freeze the entire loaf and separate the pieces I need as I require them. Frozen bread normally goes straight into the toaster and if I am making a sandwich I will generally make the sandwich while the bread is still frozen and when completed I put a tea towel over it to fully defrost which only takes a few minutes.
Love your enthusiasm and passionate presentation, Peter! This is definitely one of the more watchable locally produced videos on farming, All the best in your endeavours!
Thank you Patricia!
Keep slaying it Peter! Such great technology. Gives me such hope for the future.
What a great thing you are doing Pete👍
Thanks Matt!
This track opened the door for me to what is now a 30+ year love of EDM. Such good memories. Reminds me of the old 3lux VHS cassettes I used to have!
I revived this version from my VHS history reel copy. I was impressed it held up so well! Frankly I was impressed the VHS played at all ! 😅
Good idea, packing with the roots on
Thank you! Yes we think it’s the best way to keep things fresh for longer ! 😀
Can this be a mini-series? Breakfast, Lunch or Supper with Peter... Love to watch, and your narration makes it better to watch.
Ha ha... thank you, ok I’ll make some more soon ! 😅
They wouldnt eat it unless it was yummy, Cant wait to visit your space
Nice farmer
Thank you
Hi Peter, ive been following Comcrop for many years and its amazing to see the progress. I travel to SG a fair bit from Aus, would love to see you farm when covid is done.
Thanks for your support! What we are doing is not easy, but we will keep pushing until we get there!
Thanks for posting this. I was in Adelaide when it was released and it has always been one of my favourites. Happy memories of listening to JJJ. What became of them?
Yes it was fun! Not sure what they are doing now.
Thank you so much for this, it's always been one of my favorite trance songs of the 90's as well as one of my all time favorite songs ever.
Glad you enjoyed it! It was a fun project to do!
Why local produce are more expensive than imports? Rent, labour, middle man commission, delivery, packaging and so on *Solutions* Rent control & subsidy for farms NS female farmers Reservists 1 week annually 1 yr NS after 2 mths basic military training 10 mths farming intern Zero GST for farm produce & land rent No commission chargeable when selling in supermarkets i.e. rent free selling oulets Delivery expenses covered by government using SAF vehicles Driven by female NS drivers Bring your own bags Education Nationalism to support SG produce since it's now cheaper than imports *Provided all Solutions whole heartedly implemented* What else can help to reduce selling price of local produce?
Hi Jonathan, our produce is NOT more expensive, and that's why we have been working on increasing volumes thru traditional channels, and the better scale we can build, the faster we can make the retail price lower..... What we don't want to do is make a complicated bespoke distribution network that relies on other national resources to be competitive, because that is not sustainable long term.
@@DadsSimpleMeals How can your Singapore produce be the same pricing as imports? Your rental and labour costs are exorbitant, wrong?
@@jonathan_chee_entrepreneurship Yes we have higher costs here, and that's why we have to be more efficient, use modern technology and save on cost where possible. You are right, it is NOT easy but we have no choice but to make it work if we are going to have sustainable food security. Perhaps you can email me at peter@comcrop.com more than happy to have a coffee and I longer chat!
@@DadsSimpleMeals email send to you
Thank you for sharing, Peter. I am a part-time student at RP Urban Agriculture Technology and hoping to learn more from you.
Hi Ted, we do would with Republic Polly, please contact dtan@comcrop.com
Excellent information and looking forward to do some volunteering whenever you start it again.
Hi Balraj, thanks for your message! Unfortunately due to covid, the volunteer programs are on hold for now.... but please email us so we can contact you in the future when things improve! dtan@comcrop.com
Thank you for this very good initiative - what kind of vegetables do you produce now and in the future?
For now and the near future it is leafy greens and herbs...
What brand are you selling your vegetables under? I am assuming that the SG logo applies to all locally produced vegetables and not only those produced by ComCrop.
Our brand is Rooftop from ComCrop, our logo is at the start and the end of the video. You will see the same design on our labels in the supermarket.
Thanks. For what it's worth, I feel that you should think about how to give more visibility to your brand, for example, using it a thumbnail for your video and TH-cam channel, show shots of your products in the supermarket, etc.
Just curious...Does hydrophonics consume a lot electricity?
Gina Gabaldon No, not if it’s in a greenhouse because it’s just power to run a pump. But if it’s hydroponic indoor, then yes power useage is much higher due to the LED lights. But that said hydroponic farms, indoor or outdoor are far more productive and use 90% less water an nutrients than soil farming. Making them far more sustainable.
Thanks for the info 🙏
Another question if you don't mind?Im currently on vermicomposting... can i use vermitea as organic nutrients for hydrophonics?
Thk you Comcrop for coming to Singapore to help us to be self reliance on veggies. 👍❣
Hi Lee, I was born in Australia, but Singapore has been my home since 1992. My wife and 2 children are Singaporean, so food security, safety, quality and price are as important to me as all Singaporeans. ComCrop has always been a Singapore company and we will do our best to feed our community!
Great video and explanation of your where you are going with Comcrop. I recall looking at the business when it was operating in Orchard, on the rooftop of Escape.
Thanks Colin, its been a lot of work to get this far, and still lots to do!
@@DadsSimpleMeals That's great to hear. I visited your Mandai rooftop farm in Nov last year with a colleague from UK, he is a agri-specialist in crop production. Happy to have a chat with you to see how we can help.
Looking forward to the new section and the vertical plans!!
Me too !
Agree, Singapore must learn to be self-reliant. And we have to support SG Produce.
Absolutely ! I can't stress enough how important this is !
Peter???!!! You must be bored out of your mind!!! But some serious photography skills..up close etc...
Bezuhov P. I did it with 2 cameras. An old HD camera from above. And my Blackmagic Pocket 6K on a slider. So all the cuts are zoom ins on DaVinci Resolve, where I did all the editing.
I love this curry powder
Ben McC it’s more like a solid block of flavor cube! But yes I love the flavor!
