Exploring Swanage's Obelisk to Grounding on the Beach: Nature's Beauty, Marred by Litter!😒
I had the chance to visit the Swanage Obelisk recently, and what a fantastic day it turned out to be! 🥳 The journey started with a walk along the iconic cliffs of Old Harry Rocks. The views from up there are absolutely stunning, with the chalk formations standing tall against the blue of the sea. It's one of those places where you can't help but stop and take it all in. 🏞🌊
After spending some time enjoying the views, I made my way down to the beach for a bit of grounding. There’s something so calming about walking barefoot on the sand, feeling connected to the earth and hearing the gentle waves roll in. 🧘♂️🌊 It was a peaceful moment, just taking the time to be still and appreciate the natural beauty around me.
As I continued my journey, I couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed when I saw litter scattered along the beach. It’s a shame to see such a beautiful place not being treated with the care it deserves. But I believe that with time, more awareness will grow, and people will take better steps towards looking after our planet. 🌍💚

This is the church of St Laurence. Closely linked with the Standish family. Lots of fascinating history in Chorley, especially for it's small size

My Uncle was a bit of a recluse and he moved down to Chorley, sadly passed away the other day. I always wondered what made him move to Chorley as it is such a random place, but it looks lovely.

I have heard negative aspects about the place since recording the video but I think we can say that about any place. These last few months, I've had some wonderful hikes. As usual, I recorded them and these are the first two I would like to share. Both were shared with people very dear to my heart.❤ The first one, was when I did a route very close to home. The destination was a 12th century church which is set in peaceful, tranquil surroundings. It was there, my adorable nieces and nephew got on video with me and shared some time with me in the church itself.👨👩👦👦 It was a mainly boggy trek, through the back countryside to Bournemouth airport. It was messy but I loved every minute of it.🤸♂️ The second video was taken in London and was shared with special friends, I met when I started my online business back in 2019. It's so powerful to meet like minded people online but when you meet in person, it becomes truly electric. True friendship never dies, only unconditional love, support, compassion and understanding can happen in these situations. I want to thank them for sharing this amazing journey with me.💫 A quote I saw the other day springs to mind. “Which is more important,” asked the pupil, “The journey or the destination?” “The Company”, said the Teacher. In one day, we managed to see most of the main sights of London from Buckingham Palace to the Tower of London. Having not been in London for years, I just loved seeing these historic buildings again. 💒 I plan to come back and actually go inside some of these places and give more information about them.🧑💻 As I'm behind with my uploads, I've decided to share both of these videos which you can find down in the comments section below.👇 Thanks for all your support!🙏
