Amen. Hello from las vegas Nevada 😊
Unfortunately my faith has died long ago. I have CRPS, one the most painful illnesses known to modern medicine nicknamed the suicide-disease for a reason. My entire life has been destroyed. I have lost *everything*, even the church I went to has abandoned me. Family members now hate and blame me that my illness bankrupt our family an wish I would just pass allready. So much pain, I can't get help to lift the burden of keeping me alive off my mom cuz it's also killing her. I have many folks ask if they could help in any way but the moment I say I need money help for medical supplies and utilities. But I then get this look from them an they hurriedly reiterate to just say "Oh... well I'll pray for you." Every single time. Prayers don't help pay for the meds I need to live! I don't know why it's like this, but if gods all knowing, setting someone up with an illness like this for no reason or some cruel test, no he has to be an evil entity. Am I being punished? Did I do something wrong? All I know is I have found no help in his book nor his people. I hate him.
I am sorry for your pain. Even if you do not believe, I hope you will not mind if we keep you in our prayers.

been thinking about this quite a bit for the past couple days
Do you want truth or a lie
It's too bad they looked not upon themselves and wonder wouldn't they have been scared to I wonder if that ever crossed their minds being the servant of the most high can take you places sometimes you really don't want to go
I'm going to have to come back and listen some more thank you ladies and gentlemen an army we're raising an army for Jesus
Thank you gentlemen You're a blessing
In the beginning was The Word. And The Word was with God and The Word WAS God. The same was in the beginning with God. Thats all that matters to me. That Same Word, is where all that is comes from. Its God talk to Speak and all things: Be.
Because people are heart sinners we cause each other to suffer . When a guy leaves his family his wife and kids will suffer for a long time.
Thank you for this ❤
One might say if God is all knowing then he knows what the best way possible to control the universe is. but God is all powerful. but him being all powerful means he creates what the best way of controlling the universe is. Making infinite possibilities of the best way to control the universe. But when God could have chose any way of creating the universe, why did he decide to choose a world with inequality and suffering of the righteous. God created a world in a way that one might have a 99% chance of being condemned to hell because he was born in a family in China. Even if you believe that everyone has the chance to believe in Jesus not everyone has an equal chance. One person might be introduced and told (do you want to hear about how there is a being that controls the world) but what if this person because of social norms or brain function automatically saying no immediately, and that was the only time he was introduced to Jesus. Just as one can manipulate someone's chemical functioning to believe in Jesus why can one have an almost impossible chance of believing Jesus because of their chemical reactions. in the book of Job, God calls him and truly righteous man yet for letting people learn a lesson in the future Job add to suffer, even though he was righteous. why would God go through the trouble of making a righteous man suffer when he could just get to the conclusion and make the people learn a valuable lesson without suffering? when Joe questioned God, why is there suffering? God said he is all knowing and that he is not in a position to question him, but even if he was all knowing, would it make a difference? even if you was all knowing God chooses the way of controlling the universe and because of his infinite power God can make their universe whatever he wants. making their infinite possibilities of the best way to create the universe. so even if he was all knowing since there is no way of having a best way to create the universe how would one's knowledge help discern whether suffering is good for the world or not when God could create it however he wanted to, and it would be the best way. which my question that may never be answered why when God can create the world however he wanted to and it would be the best way Why did he decide to create a world with inequality and suffering? and many other questions come from this other than why equality and suffering Including: Why create a world where sin is a possibility Why create a world where people and angels can defy you. Why create a world where you can't get the glory you deserve but let people shame on you. there are many more questions than this but there's no point in asking because every question you can think of is still a valuable question in this list because if there are infinite possibilities of the best way to control a universe What motivates you in the first place to create the universe how it is.
Isn't this one of life's most important lessons/challenges...to listen to the voice of God in our life and then choosing to obey and do what God asks, even when we prefer to do something else or get off-track by the evil one. Thank you for tackling this topic and sharing your life-application stories. I'm looking forward to your discussion of Jonah Chapters 2-4.
not used to hearing theological topics opened up like this. interesting
