I mean when I look at surreal DB, all I see is work... Work that I have to do... Ugh... Why don't engineers accept there's a category of people who are only developers / makers. We only care about how easy it is to use your product, not its capabilities. Do you have oauth? No. File storage? No. I mean I don't care if you have vectors at this point, I can install pocketbase with qdrant. 10minutes, plus there's api. Why bother with your SQL? It's not friendly. Why?? Good luck with explaining people who want flutter and react native tutorials that they're never gonna make it with surrealdb. You need tutorials, you need ease of use, sorry no surreal for you. Cause it's about tables, queries and migrations baby

Why I wouldn't use surreal or turso.... There's no Built-in authentication system, File storage or Admin dashboard out of the box Thank you for the effort, I can't take the risks managing these things on my own. And I don't care about the rest of the db if these basics are not there. Skill issues, I know. Senior devs enjoy the product, we just look and say how nice 👍

It could stay in the bottom-right corner as a small logo with pop-up functionality. 2. Namespace and Database Naming in Surrealist: When in the query section of Surrealist, a pop-up should appear to prompt users to name the namespace and database. Without specifying these, especially outside the sandbox environment, it is not possible to proceed. 3. SDK Usage - Authentication Note: When using the SDK, there should be an important note stating that an authentication method is required. It should also provide a link to the authentication page. This is crucial because, unlike using Surrealist Cloud or the CLI, first-time users may find it easier with such guidance.

20:45 do you have really well defined examples of how to use features like this? If I were building a ride share app that has to handle push notifications, communications with realtime devices, etc. where am I expected to offload the rest of the ownership of my application without creating large layers of technical debt? I genuinely want to learn, I want to ship Surreal everywhere!

Just found out about SurrealDB and I'm absolutely loving it. The features and offerings are insane, especially for the amount of funding you guys raised. I'm a student developer at a $3M media organization of my university and I will be implementing our next project with SurrealDB . Also, I love the UI and color scheme throughout all of your products and webpages.
