A channel for those that want to learn more about the Peugeot 207, how to do certain jobs and modification. Featured cars are my RIGHT hand drive 207 GT HDI and my partners LEFT hand drive 207 1.4. If RHD or LHD is relevant to the video then this will be included in the title. Thanks for watching.
Peugeot 207 GT, Seven Countries in Three Days.
This time laps video is of my drive across Europe. There are so many stunning views to see and so much history to learn about, had I had more time and a large budget I would have side tracked to many tourist attraction. If you ever get the opportunity to DRIVE across Europe, Do So!!!

If I wasn’t sleeping or eating then I was driving. I also had no problems sleeping in the car. Simply laying the passenger seat flat was good enough for me. I had no breakdowns along the way, I serviced the car before I left and I would recommend others getting a service before taking their car abroad.

Apologies everyone for not finishing the RHD version of this vid. When I was making them we were all in lockdown and this gave me time to do it. Now we are all back at work I haven’t found the appropriate time to be able to carry on with the vids. I will get back to doing them I just don’t know when. Anyway thank you all for your kind words! Great advice. Sorted my pool of water in the footwell and sloshing behind dashboard.
My brother in law just bought a 207. Straight away he said the windows have condensation all over them. I took a look and low and behold both bungs are blocked. I never did upload the RHD version of this video but the principle is exactly the same. Removed the wipers with a 16mm socket, rocking the arm works great for getting them off the motor. Remove the black plastic panel, remove the drain plug on the passenger side, using a 10mm socket undo the wiper motor on the drivers side (pain in the arss but does come out at a funny angle then pull the drain out on that side and put it back together. Took me 10minutes to do my brother in laws. Thank you for your comment. 👍
You mention "pull the rubber drain out" but never actually show it and the part itself.
Sorry, they are both black. One is round and the other is oval shaped. They are very simple to remove

This was probably the best as most others showed oil change only or oil and oil filter but none showed air filter and pollen filters too. Very easy to follow. Shame you did not speak especially about ratchet sizes because as soon as appeared in red they were off in a flash. Any chance you show us how to change an coil pack ! Plugs?
Hi there Barry. Thank you for the comment. To honest I didn’t like the sound of my own voice on camera witch is why I didn’t speak. I keep meaning to make more videos but have’t gotten round to it. I will do eventually though. I would do a coil pack but I don’t have access to a 207 that has one. You do need a special tool for the spark plugs on the THP engine.

nice concept to make a timelapse of it.. i did the trip from constanta to paris 30 times and never thought of doing it like that. also, check the oil level. hm curiously, my 207 had never eaten any oil doing the trip , except this year where I had to add half a liter . I was a bit surprised tbh
If you do the trip again do a time laps. I would like to see it! Any long trip in any car I would check the oil. I go through more oil on long journeys. Usually ends up in the catch can.

Finally found someone with the same HDI engine as mine with an induction kit and aftermarket intercooller... Do you have any links to the intercooler and pipes buddie??? Would like to get one myself. And is that a different turbo on the car?

Are you happy with the Mobil 1 oil?
To be honest with you, I preferrer Petronas oil. I haven’t used mobile 1 in my own car. This is my wife’s car, it’s not driven hard and is well looked after so I don’t see a problem in using mobile 1 oil. If you were not planing on keeping up with services then I would recommend a better oil. Again my wife’s car only does short journeys. If you have a 1.6 engine then I would definitely use a different oil.
Mobil 1 is top quality oil, have used it for many years in modified turbo engines.
Is this the 1.4 petrol 55 kw? In my engine 3,25 l is the max capacity of oil.
I can see you used 5/40 why?i using 10/40 .do you think its better with 5/40?

Andy Sharp cars been sat for so long now and with me not driving daily at the minuet it’s no better time to strip thing like this off. Defiantly needed it. From my point of view anyway.
@@207GTBEE yeh same here, issue I have is waiting to go for an operation and limited to what can do work wise on the car this now cause of pain.

HatBoyHarvey i could do lots of “how to” videos on the 207 to be fair but 1 hate the sound of my own voice and 2 don’t think anyone would really be interested.
@@207GTBEE I thought that to start with, even now It's not easy, but you can record the sound separatly at a later date so it can be controlled and edited. As with the editing - you have a real flare for it :-)
