Helpful, thanks guys!
really glad it resonates!
In their blog it says they are at 44k/month MRR which is 500k/year, not 30M. (June 2024)
Any copywriting tips?
Not really. Make sure that it's relevant for what you're doing; find spaces where it makes the most sense; and, of course, support guest posting with helpful content on your own turf.
So basically make sure to make blog posts and write helpful content on your own site?
Yeeeeeeeeep I feel this. I’m trying to adopt a mindset where basically my success is already a guaranteed future event… and each day I’m playing catchup to that guaranteed success, so why worry so much every day?
Bootstrapping all the way! It’s hard hard hard, and painful, but I persevere onwards.

Thanks for the great talk Anna!!
Pleasure is all mine :)
Great conversation, so great to learn weflow's product and how they streamline sales team's workflows.
even better, theres plenty of great open source software you can browse for free
Absolutely, but for learning Rails this is a cool opportunity even at $300
Love this guy's responses, very smart SaaS guy. I'm building a commercial open source dev tool myself, and I found a lot of what he said very interesting/useful. Will keep this in mind.
Great interview!
Rob Walling is the OG! Best content around. Would love to see him appear on these sometime. He has inspired my own bootstrapped journey.
Would love to hear you have more guests on talk about bootstrapping, like Mike Perham did.
Lots and lots more bootstrapped founders are coming :) thanks for the feedback!
@@saas-group awesome! If you have any commercial open source founders on sometime soon, that would also MAKE MY DAY as someone who is trying to walk the path now.
@@dmiradakis check out the one with Frank Karlitschek in the meantime!

hey i know that guy
Personally I think going usage based first has many many more benefits. Firstly it’s easier to implement. Designing your system in a way that allows events to be ingested and stored in a way that allows for easy querying is great for a business even if you don’t charge for it. Just to see when customers do things, where they do it and how much. Then you have that metric framework in place you can onboard some beta users, see their usage, and justify usage based pricing. That’s just my take, but I do believe the metrics are worth having even if you decide to not stick with usage based pricing model.
Smart human, very inspring video on storytelling. Wish the ceo the best, nice website and experience :)
Tobias Gunther i love you😍😍😍
Great podcast, esp around scaling ARR
Thanks, Frank!

What an excellent video! Matt Cole shares valuable insights on growing SaaS businesses through acquisitions. His strategies for overcoming initial administrative challenges in Chile and the acquisition of Nubox are particularly instructive. The importance of acquiring companies with a clear focus, cloud operations, and accessible pricing for SMBs is fundamental. I also found it fascinating how Suma SaaS integrates teams culturally and operationally, ensuring founders share the company’s mission and vision. Additionally, the strategies for maintaining and growing the customer base post-acquisition through digital marketing and systematic activation are crucial for any SaaS company. Suma’s goal to impact 1 million small businesses in Latin America is inspiring and demonstrates their commitment to supporting local businesses. The presented figures, such as the 5x growth in their customer base over eight years and the alarming 80% failure rate of small businesses, underscore the relevance and urgency of their mission. Thank you for sharing these insights and experiences, Matt!
Good podcast, I like how the interviewer really let her guest, Francois, talk and asked such interesting questions.
thanks for a great feedback!

Great insights on SaaS M&A valuations and benchmarking! It's fascinating to see how financial metrics and growth projections play such a crucial role. I'd love to hear more about the importance of cultural fit in these deals. How do companies typically assess and integrate different corporate cultures to ensure a smooth transition post-acquisition? Thanks for the informative video
We will definitely explore the importance and assessment of the cultural fit in acquisitions in the next episodes. Stay tuned! And thanks for the feedback 🙌
Thank you Mr James
