I'm having this issue right now at 75k miles on 2011 BMW 128i. I've already changed alternator. It happens when I am wide open throttle. The noise is much more pronounced.

Slowest "muscle" car there is ecoboost will do it in 4.5sec
4.5 seconds all the way to the dealership to get new turbos..

Needs a turbo though 😮💨 if you throw a turbo on any other v6 engine its instantly faster then a q50
@@DeathhAngel1 for the same price, from the factory with no mods, the mustang outperforms it in every way. I would not hesitate to buy a car that performs, thats meant to perform, as it is marketed
@@alexandercameron645 a turbo is basically a mod 😮💨 . Nowadays they just lazily throw a twin turbo or single turbo on any v6 and call it a performance car, gone are the days of NA performance engines.
I have a 2010 v6 at and mine was noisy like that too. I replaced the fuel pump and it calmed down a lot, but, I also think I need a valve adjustment as well and may replace the belt tensioner while Im at it. I think you may need to recheck those valves again.

It turned out to be the expansion tank hose. Part number: 17127618510
Already replaced the alternator, the belt, the belt tensioner, the power steering pump and fluid. But the noise is still there. If you know how to fix this please help! Thank you.

Have you tried checking your camshaft and rockers? Mine sound worst than this but I haven't check mine yet but I'm assuming its the camshaft and rockers getting worn out
Haven't checked yet but one mechanic told me that noise comes from worn cam lobe and it costs more than 1k to replace it. He also said that noise will get louder as time goes but didn't say what will happen eventually...
@@yoyotvyoo yes thats true i just got mine checked by a mechanic and they're hearing the tapping noise from the rear bank. They advice me to just change the whole engine instead of fixing it since it had high Km already (254k) km
I got the same advice from the mechanic saying I can get a good low mileage one from japan. However it will cost more than 3k in total which scares me. Mine is now 112k. Does yours have any issue other than the noise? Like misfire or something.

Not yet... I replaced timing belt, tensioner, water pump, and also did a valve adjustment. The noise is still there especially high RPM.
Sound to me the Valves are still loose.The valves clearance adjustment needs a senior Honda mechanic to perform only Honda engines need it nowadays and dealer got the spec sheet for your model

Came here from your comment on Horlly’s video. It could be noisy valves, needing a major adjustment. Don’t drive it hard until you’ve gotten a proper valve adjustment job done.
Thank you for the advice! I just did a valve adjustment but the noise is still there... I am getting used to that sound anyway😢
