Good things aren't meant to last forever, and being afraid of change regardless of how much it might hurt will do you no good. Things happen that are out of your control, or hell you might of done something that resulted in a bad thing. Ponder on it for a moment, then let go. You can't let it overwhelm you, please James don't see the ends as a means for something good.
