hi , i want to ask a question about patteren fill. i have drawn a polygone over another one with different shape file. i want one of them to be filled with geological rock symbols . how to do that?
Amazing tutorial. Thank you. Is there a way I can add point location and make the details on the point popup when click on the point?
Thank you!
You're a life saver dude
Can you make a video of the road like Openstreetmap? Including direction arrows? Thanks!

to remove vegetation, trees, etc, what would the procedure be to remove them?
Thanks, how to export as tiff?
Does this work with 30m DEM?
It might be useful to add (+your site) that this package is just to help quickly copy files from multiple placed into one folder (so you will have a bunch of files again; and this plugin is not maintained). GeoPackage might be a better option as one file for all (geo database). Project Packager - is a better option, it can Copy/Consolidate into .gpkg as well. (There is also QConsolidate3 with similar functions, but it is also old and had some issues).
How ro find a slope units for landslides
Thank you for this! Opened up a new world of symbology for me and I've had a lot of fun with it :D
Thank you for the nice explanation.
hello, i hvae a quesion. I dont have the Icon Toolbox, i dont know why and I cant find the option under processing or rastaer-extraction-contour. Nothing is possible in my programme..... i have gqis 3.63.3
Very useful! Thanks!
Hi, thanks for the video. I would like to know how to do the same in AWS using an EC2 instance. Moreover, I would like to see an example on how to upgrade postgres using docker but keeping the database (I believe it can be achieved with the volumes). Finally, I am interested on how to use docker for creating geoserver instance in AWS and share spatial data securely with WMS/WFS layers. Thanks
Brilliant tutorial!!
Thank you so much for clear and easy to follow instructions!
Thank you for showing the failures as many content creators only show the success stories. My favorite content creators show the failures and their resolution steps. This gives a MUCH better education! This allows the learning people to recognize that it might not be them making errors. Thank you for the GREAT video!!!
Is your Coord. Ref. Sys. in meters?
Hi, thank you very much for your tutorial. Congratulations, too! I'd like to ask you if there's a way to automatically put the most frequent choices in Value relation menu in order to put them on the top of the list. If positive, is there a way to put some spacers (titles) such as "the most frequent" and then "all the other choices"? Again, thank you for your support.
Interesting! I'm sure I'll make use of it in the future.
These instructions helped me achieve exactly what I wanted. Thank you @Tales from the GIS
I'm stuck on applying the Geometry Generator: buffer($geometry, "width" * 0.5), when I hit apply, it changes my vector line into a giant circle??? Any ideas?
Utterly pointless tutorial without explaining how to start with the roads in the first place. 💩
Thank you very much.
excellent video, easy to understand
How did you get the separated data from OSM to begin with? I have tried several QGIS plugins, but they all seem to download everything into one item combined by geometry type (polygons, lines, points all lumped together).
I am also looking for this, please drop a comment here in case you find out ( I will do the same if I do)
@@tharikhajar QuickOSM is a good plugin for it
Great video and very helpful walkthrough on using CloudCompare for filtering classified point clouds! Your explanations are clear and make navigating the software much easier.
How can I calculate the point density of my LiDAR data? for example in reporting in articles as (___ pts/m2)
very nice of workflow, is there a way to export it as a filled geometry to edit in CAD??? i cant find a way to export the roads as shown
Perfect tutorial. Thanks for your voluntary teaching
Do I need a network when linking PostGIS with a Django project or the default network created on docker-compose up is enough?
Hi Eduard...i'm working at excavation project...if i have 2 DTM..,first DTM is for design...and second DTM is excavation progress...is that possible if i would like to define and identify area above and below design in qgis...
HI! You should obtain what you need using a difference operation using the z but both dtms need to be aligned with some kind of reprojection. This will create a difference only dtm where you will see the progress of the operations
Thanks Eduard
Hello, Thanks for the nice content! I have a question regarding native point cloud toolbox in the QGIS. I have windows machine and qgis 3.32.2-Lima version available. I am able to use pointcloud tool box. However I need to use QGIS and pointcloud toolbox in ubuntu for a reason. Unfortunately, I could not succeed to find pointcloud tool box in the 3.34.1-Prizren and 3.28.13 version. I wonder if pointcloud toolbox is not available for ubuntu QGIS and it is just for windows? Thank you for your answer in advance! :)
Hi, nice video! I was wondering how can i export but keep the background which i have set as a google view! Thanks
Many thanks, quick and useful
Pls upload python code zip file
Hi There, I'm using QGIS 3.34 on a Mac Ventura 13.6.1 and trying to get qlidar to work but I have the following problem: Couldn't load plugin 'qLidar' due to an error when calling its classFactory() method ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'libCpp.libPyPointCloud3D' I'm wondering if anyone knows what's wrong as I have tried this on a few recent but earlier versions of QGIS and run into the same problem every time. I'm just using the GUI console 'Plugins' to try install and then load this. Thanks
This is an issue due to missing native libraries. Are you on apple silicon?
Yes an apple MacBook Pro, the operating system was noted above. Do you know what I have to do to rectify that?, thanks in advance.......@@talesfromthegis
@@JimFreer-n3x What CPU does your mbp have? (click the apple, and then about this mac and then read the "chip" entry)
Anyway you should be able to use QGIS Lidar capabilities without needing qLidar plugin

Hello the csf plugin is not avaiable in my case do you know why thats the case. Thank you.
Which version of CC are you using?
Hello, what classificator do you use ?
The cloud was already classified so no classifier actually. There is plenty of foss solutions on github but you need to train the chain with input data. This is quite a complex topic :)
Nice sir
Thanks and welcome

Hello, I have LiDAR data from a drone and I need to extract low-voltage power poles. How is this possible in QGIS? Do you know of any other open-source program where I can classify low-voltage network poles?
microstation + terrascan/terramodel
@@artemsorokin4360 open source…..
There a few opensource tools for cloud classification. Do a search on github for point cloud classification. Anyway you will need to code rules or train a model.
in this program is it possible to make vector in 3d mode using point cloud?
Could you please explain better what do you mean? Thank you!
