I reckon I might be putting too much thought into what I’m doing here, but over on TH-cam, I’ve been looking for instructional videos on Paul Kelly’s song How To Make Gravy. Considering with where I’m currently at with my Guitar playing, Have found the TH-camr AndyGuitar to be the most helpful and easiest. My biggest problem at the moment is the dreaded timing. I’m playing along then suddenly, nope I’m out of time again, with songs I really want to play, how do I get my timing right please 🤔🤔 Andy I’m trying to play along with you, I’m at the stage where my chords are crisp, the strumming pattern is ok, but when I try to play along with you, I seem to be out, how can I fix this please 🤔🤔

Well I never knew the low E string verse & prechorus (1:19) had a varied rythym sequence --0067 0057 oo45 0032 etc ---thankyou for that info !

Great job!... Man, you've done the BEST job on TH-cam, out of the dozen guys that try to play it and teach it!... I always wanted to know exactly all the chords! And there was an episode called Jaynestown, where a "Mudder" sat on a bar table and sang a song, to celebrate Jayne's robbing the town boss! The intro to that song is great, but the volume so low you can just barely hear it!

You've got the intro lick wrong... the first half of it it's okay, but after the last pull to the open a string you bend UP the low G note to G# on the 6th string, and then pull it OFF, to the open e note... Then you'll have the exact intro lick... that last Bend and pull off is the coolest part of the whole lick man!... but most of your chords are okay thanks for putting them up- the biggest problem I have with your video is it's chopped off on the sides I can only see the middle part of the table and half of your picking hand, nothing of your fretting hand!... can't you fix that video and put it up full screen?... it's not ME, every other video is fine on my phone and computer!

Hey boss, was really good to check up on this song. I used to play it a lot but, even performed it at a school battle of the bands in a teacher student duo. Weirdly, it was the senior graduation song for the kids that year. Was a favourite of the year 12 coordinator that year. they weird bit is that she committed suicide the next year. Was heavy..... I'm going through a re learn all the songs I have played before faze and this one has been a sticker for me as I tended to get a bit emotional when I tried to sing and play it. I have been hitting the practice rooms at work in lunch breaks and its been rad to revisit this one and not loose it. hahah. TMI I guess but all good.
