traffic incident
มุมมอง 1144 ปีที่แล้ว
Making a left turn at a double left lane intersection. Car on the inside lane decided to enter into my lane. Quite a common incident so I was almost expecting it. Kept my cool and just wanted to make sure I avoided the gravel on the road as well as another car that could have been making a right turn going the opposite direction.

Hey, on that tank bag, if you run a bar across the two front clips you would be able to remove it with one hand. These are all great adds. I also expect to do mild adv. biking (really just gravel/dirt roads) so its nice to see some of what I might want to add. Do you have any information on how you added the lights with the key fob switch?
I was planning on that with the tank bag but when I got to the point where it is now I just called it good enough. The remote control for the lights are a simple install. Pretty sure there are TH-cam videos on that. Amazon ; Multi-Function Relay Switch Remote Control Switch DC 12V 4CH
@@ads9765 Thanks. Having the search term finally got me to the listing.
Late response here. Love the light mods! The turn signals lighting is fantastic.
thanks
Nice.
nice mods !! Did you needed to "report" the extra lights with an OBDII plug or just hook it up with the battery (with relais), mount them and the new swich, and good to go?
just hooked them up and all went well
Thanks @@ads9765
Thx for the tip about-to chop a bucket up right now!
That's great. Really hard to justify the 100 bucks for a piece of plastic
Where did you get the treads i wasnt able to find any “all terrain “ style ended up with some conti motions
I got them from Fortnine in Canada. Not sure if they are still available. Hope so.
how are the lights you added up front turned on and off? Did you just route power to them and then how did you program them to work with that remote control?
The lights are powered by both a switch as well as a remote purchased from amazon. Multi-Function Wireless Relay Switch Remote Control Switch DC 12V 4CH 433MHz Nothing too technical but more than what i could explain here
Well done. Concerning your aux lights: the canbus system won't accept any "fiddling" without buying and installing special equipment ( synonym for "expensive"). What I did was to unplug the DIN plug from the system and connect it directly to the battery (thus usage becomes versatile because power is always on). That way I trickle charge the battery, have an outlet for the tyre inflator etc. You can then connect the old wiring from that DIN plug to a relay that will be activated as soon as you turn on the ignition key. Once the relay is activated, in my case, it powers a fuse box. You could connect anything you like to that box including your aux lights. Install a switch to turn the aux lights on/off and you're done. I myself had to figure out this solution, because otherwise my dashcam system starts to record everytime and for as long as I charge the battery (canbus awakes). You could also forget all of the above and tap into the wiring of the headlights. Lead that wire to a relay, install a switch to turn the lights on/off and voila! The power draw to the relay is small enough to fool the canbus system, so there should not be a problem there. Succes and take care... Greetings from Belgium... Ed.
Thanks for the advise Ed
I appreciate a mind that says "they want how much for this asinine little gizmo??? Oh no no no I'll make it myself" excellent use of GoPro mounts, I've used those myself to make phone mounts for cars and Jeeps
Absolutely! ...and thank you
Looks great! What are the lights that you added behind the passenger footpeg and the front. The ones you light up while riding at night.
Thanks. They are actually truck bed lights. Comes with 2 strings each with 4 lights for 28 bucks at Canadian Tire
Nice mods. You came up with a lot of good ideas there, it’s nice to have a bike that’s ready for a little bit of gravel. I hope to see some more of your travel videos in the future, I enjoyed them. Take care.
Thank you
Good video, that’s a cool tarp setup at Tunkwa lake. I’ll be watching the rest of the series.
Hi Will, i enjoyed the video and subscribed. Blake Harder here, I met you at Seton lake. Looking forward to more of your adventures and say hi to Steve.
Hiya Blake. Pleasure meeting you. The rest of the latest trip was great. Only got rained on once..
Nice video I would love to ride BC someday. Take Care and thanks for sharing
thank you
Hello, is it okay if I use this clip? You will be accredited in the description. Thank you. (PS. not a big youtuber)!
You bet
Hi, here you go, your clip is featuring here: th-cam.com/video/E8w0rv1-N98/w-d-xo.html It is on video called: GIVE ME 15$ | ANGRY, CRAZY, DUMB & STUPID PEOPLE VS BIKERS 2021 | Ep.#06 | Any type of support is welcome and we will be thankful for it, ride safe and take care, if I find any more clips am I allowed to use them?
Annoying music ruined the vid
Not sure what else i could do. I tried no sound and it seemed like it was lacking something. Would have liked to use popular music but then there is always the copyright thing. I'm genuinely open to your suggestions. Perhaps more commentary? Or possibly a microphone closer the exhaust?
It's a beautiful driving video. I'm honored to be your best channel friend. Have a happy day. 👍👍👍🤙🤙🤙👌
One of the best roads in BC
sure is
Great find for a campsite. I love motocamping. Mostly I head out solo around here on PEI but I'd love to explore out west someday. Thanks for sharing the adventure.
...and I would love to explore out east!
*"....Motorbikes, tents . . . . No women. " Haaaaaa!!! I got a laugh outta that. And as the wife, don't worry, I definitely found it funny. 👍 😅. 👍*
Hey man!! Cool to feature this clip in my next video? Watermarked and linked to your channel

@@ads9765 Thanks!!
What is the road ???
what part or the ride are you referring to?
Dirk Diggler When you said “ this is a great road “ but didn’t reference the route #
@@mauricehess537 #12 highway starting in Lolo Montana heading west through the Nez Perce- Clearwater national forest and continuing until Lewiston Idaho.
Dirk Diggler 😉👍
Beautiful scenery and nice ride. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks. Cant wait to back back out there. Next year by the looks of things.
Amazing
Thanks
When you are done with the daily videos you should make a short highlights video of all the best parts of the trip
Good entertainment tho, watch the videos after dinner with the fam
You should add captions with the names of all the little towns you pass through. also try to mute steve's footage when you use it to get rid of bad wind noise
