canadain forces - combat engineer. this is what i want to be when i join the forces!
Grimsdumb wqs hates by all his troops because he was an A$$hole to everyone
Engineer officers DO NOT design or plan building a bridge. Sgt's do that
Grimsrud was a cocky idiot. Tall guy who thought he was the bees knees and treated everyone like $h1t. Probably a LCol now or full Col, but noone ever liked him

BEST ARMYV CANADA ON LOVE FORCE 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦👍👍
Do you always have the same men? And what are the 4 reigiments?
1 CER in Edmonton 2 CER in Petawawa 4 ESR in Gagetown 5 CER in Valcartier (Francophone) You don't always have the same people, no. You get new soldiers fresh from their training, people move into and out of your unit, etc. You yourself will change jobs as well, you're not going to be an Lt in command of a troop for your whole career.
So are engineer officers always second in command?
someone pls tell me im not the only one in the combat eng trade going to basic in july
Here we are at misery, Ft Leonard Wood. "File from the left, column left," said the Sergeant, We didn't know we could. We're gonna to be Engineers, for our Uncle Sam. So, we can fight those World War Twos, Koreas, Vietnams. [Chorus] Cause we are, Mountain Movers - Mountain Movers, Castle on fire. Weapons and equipment and man-power. Yeeaah! Nothing is too hard for us and nothing can't be done. Just tell us where we have to go, we'll do it on the run. [Chorus ends] Hey, Mr President, tell us that we can. Fight for freedom and liberate oppressed lands. Over hill, over dale, we hit the dusty trail. Drive on Sergeant, you we'll never fail. [Chorus] [Cadence with marching background] Drill Instructor: Left, left, left right. Troops: Always first! Drill Instructor: Left, left, left, right. Troops: Bridge the gap! Drill Instructor: Left, left, left, right. Troops: Breech the wall! Drill Instructor: Left, left, left, right. Troops: Shoot to kill! [Cadence and Marching Fades] Drill Instructor: Left, left, left, right. Left, left, left, right. Left, left, left, right. Engineer's Song (C) by William Cooper

Moving CFSME from Chilliwack to GAGtown was a huge mistake but the citizens of B.C. had to be punished for not being Liberal sheep like the citizens of the Maritime provinces.

Lol Erica Ha ha ha ha ha Basically half Dawe half Perry haha JUNK
Chimo m’y girl 👍💪
This is the best video, I have seen reference the Canadian Army. I am originally from Canada, and now living in the U.S.A. (U.S. Army) veteran. Thanks for sharing, and see you in the next one.
There is no life like it. I was a Field Engineer, same as a Combat Engineer from 1974 to 1982, I was posted to 3 Fld Sqn/ 1 CER at CFB Chilliwack, BC,, now closed and at 4 CER at CFB Lahr, West Germany. Best 8 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, I had to medical re-muster to the RCAF, but that's another story. I also went to the Yukon to work on the Eagle River Bridge on the Dempster Highway in 1977, another great bridge project, the bridge is 16 kms south of the Arctic Circle and is a 100 meter thru truss bridge, still there too.
all that education and training to potentially be called as infantry soldier?!?
Ahhh! The fake button stelleto’s. Man I hated those. If for any other reason. Couldn’t find a real switchblade to save your life. And don’t get me wrong ,,,they R beautiful. And I love the Blade design. But dammit we wanted real ones not a pretender. Enjoyed the video
would love this job but most likely will go with a job that benefits me outside the military. still a really awesome job though.
3:49 - This Sapper is running with the chainsaw the wrong way. I can't count the number of times I got jacked up for carrying the chainsaw the wrong way when on the move lol Chimo brothers!
Thanks

One year at the troop level and the rest will be licking your aluminum wash basin ....
I'm to stupid to be an officer. 😕
lol , you'll fit right in , then ;p
Did you end up getting into the forces?
@@watermelonhead6525 Canadian infantry for 4 years
@@1joshjosh1 As an NCM? How are you liking combat arms? Im thinking about getting into Armoured or becoming a pilot.
I remember a Canadian military TH-camd it was this little brown girl going through basic training. If I remember correctly she was trying to be a combat engineer. Her videos were really helpful and her name started with a k. Recently I haven’t been able to find any of her videos
Kyra nank
And she is black lol 😂
I dont think she liked being an officer so she left after basic.
I wrote this myself... The role of the combat engineer is to.... Assist in the mobility of friendly forces, And to deny the same to the enemy. Are there any combat engineers out there both current and former that want to weigh in on that???? (I'm an ex infantryman type)
@S0uLCrusheR 👍
One day in five years anybody that had a tour in Afghanistan will be old. All those young guys will want to hear storys.
Indeed
This ismy dream job more so for the fact you get to help out others rebuild so they can have a safer life
They don’t really talk about the fear of having an anti tank weapon pointed at you and you can’t see it
They do in training
Damn tanks really do pack a punch don't they.
Recce + Tankers; Lethal Combo of Fighters.
how much do they make and do u need to be able to swim underwater
60200$ a year is average and yes you do need to swim but don’t worry if you can’t they will teach you
The leopard 1 is out of service in Canada now.
yeah, its a leopard 2 now
Is 36 yo guy too old to join CAF as CE or not?
I'm 36 and I'm joining the reserves, combat engineer hopefully, until I finish my bsw then I'll be a CAF Social Worker :D
My cousin in a tank crew she as her own crew my grandma told me
Her regiment is LdSH rcd/rc
I don’t know if I wanna be an artillery gunner or a ce.
Also this video was posted on my birthday
I have been having the same dilemma, after all the research I have landed on CE. CE set's you up (Trade Wise) for operating heavy equipment, carpentry, engineering tech, road builders, etc. Where as the Artillery Gunner would set you up for jobs such as surveyors, tractor trailer operators/heavy machine operators, prison guard/security, firefighters etc... In the end I'm more excited to try out the Combat Diver. Good luck with your choice!
Its-Taken you really influenced my discussion to become a combat engineer so thank you very much for helping me choose I’m still in basic training
@@Jackson-id2nz no worries man, Good luck with basic training!!
Canadian forces... Lmao. Do they even know how to shoot their weapon?
Canada trains some of the best snipers in the world an there special forces have the most confirmed kills.
Do you?
The longest sniper kill shot is by a Canadian
First in. Last out. Sappers lead the way! Chimo brothers!
I love you guys I'm going to join the Canadian army soon
Godspeed
Sorry to break it to you but that’s not a switchblade it’s o normal lock back knife a switchblade has a hole in the blade a safety normally and not a nail knick if it was broken you’d have to still press the button to unlock the blade what you have there is a vintage stiletto style folding knife
so do they carry small arms on them too?
Of course. Armoured units have pistols as well as shorter carbine rifles.
Yes, on deployment armoured crewman would have a 9mm Browning high power and a 5.56 C8 carbine
pootis spencer here
DP1
Oliver ! :) hug Erika
I have one month of basic left, then it’s off to Gagetown for engineer school
Here's a question for you , after basic how long does it takes ? and how many courses is there ? thank you
Officers=GLUE BAGS
Glue bags
Looking to join the infantry after highschool, Its good to know ill have reliable men and women in front of me
CAF is awesome. You're joining some of the best in the world !
