Neil Sedaka, Boz Skaggs, Seeds. and the Shangri-la's to name a few.
Hi, I really enjoy your videos. Keep Them Coming
Thanks for the comments and support! Dizzy
Great video. Enjoyed it
Lindsay sang "Arizona" as a solo act.
That's Freelancers 94. Brian Hodgkins can be seen clearly as soloist
Hi Andy and Dizzy, Enjoy your videos. I think it is kind of rude of someone to say that Dizzy talks to loud. Just lower the volume on your computer? Take care
Good show, Andy & Dizzy! How about a duo Top 5 of the San Francisco bands from the Summer of Love?
Grear idea! Are youn the famous “Wisko You Tube Fractial Artist? Been a lon time fan of your music art videos!
Gary Puckett & The Union Gap are from Union Gap, WA, near Yakima. Harvey Mandel met Sugarcane Harris through John Mayall. Good schtuff, Maynard!
I know I knew that about Union Gap, WA at one time. Mayall is a good start there. Thanks for your comment. I just finished editing one for Friday where I couldn't pull Redbone's hit out of my brain or Guardians of the Galaxy. I got to learn to fail and move on. Glad you are enjoying these.
Richard this Dizzy! The Champ and I know more comments in time will be posted, but in the meantime, tell us more about you. How many records do you have! What are your favorite records? What state are you in! Above all, thanks for sharing!!!
Hi Dizzy and Andy. Enjoy your videos. Keep them coming. It was so sad about Peter Yarrow. The song your talking about with Neil Sedaka and his daughter Dara is Should've Never Let You Go from 1980. It came out as a 45 and it is on Neil's LP In The Pocket Take care, Andy and Dizzy. I am puzzled why I am the only one commenting
Great video. Enjoyed it. Love Gary Puckett
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the extra information. It is also good to know Dizzy isn't just making stuff up. Lol
This is too much fun. Love the episodes. Could you guys speak on how the San Francisco sound differed or related to music coming from Oakland, San Jose, and LA
I will bring it up to Dizzy. I like the idea,
Enjoyed this video. The song your speaking of that Neil Sedaka sang with his daughter Dara is Should've' Never Let You Go from 1980. A beautiful song. It is on the Neil Sedaka LP In The Pocket.
That mono Standells album is great to have as the stereo copies are rechanneled stereo. Oh man...The Sonics debut. It's looks like an original mono copy from here. That album was also mixed in true stereo. Nice Grabs!
Where does Richard White live? He might be in the Seattle area!
I sure hope Richard White sees your video!!
Great video, Enjoyed it
Dizzy surely takes stimulated!!
He has his down times, and won't even touch coffee.
Dizzy was right! Tex Williams wrote Smoke, Smoke that Cig and not Doc Watson!
Yes, but Doc Watson did cover it.
Dizzy is wrong!!! Captain Beefheart was a member of Frank Zappa’s Mothers of Invention!
Thanks Boxley’s for bring such a joyous Christmas show!!!!
Looks like a joyous occasion!!! Merry Christmas Greta and the band!!
Looks like a joyous occasion!!! Merry Christmas Greta and the band!!
I really enjoy your videos. Keep them coming
Andy and Dizzy, Love these videos. They are great. Keep them coming
Thanks so much, it is nice to know we aren't doing them just for our benefit.
Great video, But way to short? haha
he is return
I didn't realize this was their last tour or I would have caught them in St Paul MN while they were close by. I have been a fan since the early 70s. Some have said that Jeff was a bit "off" during this performance but I certainly would have been happy with it. They sound great to me. Wonderful light show, too! You were lucky to have seen them. Thanks for a great video!
Man Dizzy, I want to go to lunch with you!
Let me know! Are you in Seattle? Luna Cafe?
I'm glad you guys sis this video because no one at all has covered this stuff yet
Thank you. San Francisco is close to Dizzy's heart ❤ and he got to experience much first hand.
Jaks Records?
Don't know Jak's records.
Great video. Enjoyed it so much
The james brown❤
Should of played "Fire On High in it's entirety.
When is episode 2?
Very soon. And yes it is a winner too!!
Awesome!
I was there! had great seats. This was my first Rock Concert and had a great a time.
I think you would get more views if you just posted the entire show, uncut. Hard to get a feel for how the show was when it's all chopped up.
Wow. What a combo. Wish I had been there. Thanks for uploading.
Is that Lee on Bass
The Opening group was very bad. Jeff et all is Awesome!
Still fresh and original. Great musicianship🌲🙏🌲
Didn’t realize the warm up band travel with them, saw them in San Francisco 9.1.24.
Classic early 20th Century Jazz Bands Tunes brought to life by dedicated musicians who love the music! Nothing could be better for a hot summer afternoon at the park at the Seattle Locks!
Bravo! Watched it live! My favorite is the soundtrack from the World War II tv series “Victory at Sea”! A second choice was the documentary of Chuck Berry “Hail, Hail Rock n Roll”!
Most unfortunate that Richard Tandy was unable to join in on this farewell tour. RIP Mr Tandy
Ummm , Well JL IS ELO really. And I have seen some of these musicians in other iterations of the band
This NOT ELO it’s Jeff Lynne!!
To be precise, it's actually officially 'Jeff Lynne's ELO'!
Good thing he sang and wrote the songs!
isn't just great to have this awesome music with us in 2024?
