@@blord1205 that could definitely be the case! I think there are some cards that were just never changed when they came to the tcg so it’s a possibility that at least for the first few events it works the way it’s worded on the text here

It'll be ruled as the text states, until it gets updated. Konami TCG does not make rulings, we just go by what judges say + card text.

@@ToadallyMimi it’s not a super high impact hand trap right now. If I was playing a hand trap build instead of board breakers it would make sense but there’s only really room for 12-15 non engine, making it less likely to open multiple HTs and therefore making the ash less impactful since it’s less likely to be paired with something

I thought about this not that long ago, and while the horus cards seem like they'd be quite strong rn its tough to justify playing them in a meta where ryzeal detonator deals with the sarc so easily

I think a lot of people would disagree with you thinking that memento is t3 but everybody is entitled to their opinion!

You would almost never use it to call duo. You use it as a board breaker and call detonator or white binder. You can also use it to send memento fusion in order to keep playing through hand traps

@ggGio i understand the tech part. But for that reason just play 3 Ultimate slayer and targets. I love this deck, but i believe nib and ash should be main. Thanks for giving it visibility.

@@eduardoantoniomaldonadovas9164 the primary point is that you can send Fusion and use it as a psuedo extender. The sending BGL is just extra utility as a breaker. That way FBG acts as both an extender and breaker when needed. This is a fine approach to the deck since this deck really isn't that good at playing the HT war, unless you are also playing the FS package to go into FS combo after eating double HT. I think my biggest issue is Book of Eclipse. It is an OK breaker vs non-link decks (so not Maliss), but you can't use it to dodge card effects on most of your own starters (they either require you to control face-up memento, or pop memento you control so once they go face-down you can't pop them anymore), so Eclipse's purpose is just as a breaker as opposed to both breaker and dodger. I feel like there are probably better cards to play in that case. Maybe just drop it down to 40 cards without the Eclipse I also think Fractured Dance should be part of the side-deck for going first. You can send it off FBG, and if you are playing someone taking the breaker approach your final endboard would end with an extra layer of interaction.

@@Avermra Eclipse is still good as a fantastic answer to Ryzeal/Fiendsmith Ryzeal boards, and while you can't use it to dodge handtraps, you can still use it as disruption when going first.

@@Leclwrd I do understand that, but I think this deck already has a pretty decent MU against Ryzeal variants compared to its MU against Maliss. Of course, there is an argument to just deal with the most popular deck in your main, despite having a decent MU against it, and just letting G1 against a bad MU like Maliss go and then side more heavily for it.

@@filipmiladinovic8169 I think it’s a bit tough currently due to detonator just being able to pop kings sarc when you activate it but if you go first or have a way to negate that effect then it’s probably pretty solid!

2 is better because it lets you banish to summon back aerial eater, but if you are playing diabolica you can definitely get away with only playing 1 and replacing the second with a lacrima instead

@ggGio Awesome! Just picked up some of the Yubel stuff for a funny build, but definitely wanna keep exploring different Chimera options as I wanna see what suits me most, even after a year and a half of playing it

If they don't nib you before you summon apprentice they likely don't have it, otherwise they risk not being able to use it at all if you just make Caesar with the two level 6 fiends on the field

The second effect of chimera fusion is to add or special. You only get to pick 1 of those 2 to apply and its a hard once per turn so you can only add back a singular time

The azamina cards do actually nothing for chimera and it is a pretty sizable package. If I wanted to add a negate to start turns with I think nightmare throne is significantly better, but I'm probably more likely to just cut the edge imp package and play a smaller deck count than to replace it with the azamina stuff
