Awesome video brother. Sold 6 MSTU this week and collected a premium of about $290 yesterday as I buy to close the 6 contracts since it was a out of $9 and the stock was at $13, but then yesterday I decided to take a risk and do the $11 dollar mark for today, and right at the end of the day the stock pull back😢had to roll out 4 contracts a couple week until February 7, 1 for next week, and decided to keep and get assigned on 1 contract.. Lesson learned!😂but it is what it is, I’ll be back up again it’s just a matter of time and patience and now I learned from my mistake! got a bit greedy.. Keep up the great videos enjoy your weekend!

Decided to start options trading and copied your strategy for the CLSK put (cash secured, 1 contract) expiring 2/21. Just been reading a lot of theory and decided to practically try to get an understanding. Thank you, as always, for being a mentor in many ways!! Hello hello Dividend Executives, love your strategy, with VTI and SCHD as core, you can't go wrong. I have roughly 150 shares of QQQ, and 85 shares of SPY (investing $110 daily in SPY till it gets to 100 shares) then I also have 1575 shares of SCHD as well. I don't want an investment advice, but as a fellow investor, I want to know what strategy should I use to increase my dividend payments? I was thinking 200 shares of MSTY, 200 shares of NVDY, 200 shares of TSMY and 200 Shares of CONY and then reinvest 30% dividends back in the same asset, 30% keep aside for uncle Sam and 40% in cash to invest when the avg price is a lot below my cost basis in these. What do you think? Also, as I told you before, my 2 year old and 4 year old are both your fan. They shout with you saying "Hello Hello Dividend Executives"

If rate of decay was the same if you make 50% on the trade there’s an opportunity cost of not using it to take on a new trade that would suggest taking the tradr But since it decays faster than the 2month you probably want to ride out most of the decay I’m not sure where between 50% and 100%. Options become more and more risk relative to the reward the closer it gets, and just as sensitive to a large price surge. While rolling early would cost something in terms of raw price, it would allow you to weather a temporary large surge and still ultimately collect a large percentage of the next contract. So there is a point at which maximizing return short term isn’t the right play since in a perpetual contract situation eventually you will get assigned. Assignment is free if they assign you way too early when there is a ton of premium left but when prices go against you sharply in the money it may not be ideal compared to rolling. After all you can still make money from an in the money option and there is still extrinsic decay. I don’t have any idea when optimal rolling is, although I imagine it’s more than 60% profit on extrinsic value and less than 95%. While you can turn around and sell a call it is suboptimal to sell a put ar $80 on a $100 stock and then sell a $70 call on the same stock at $60. I don’t know if rolling the $80 to $75 and riding a perpetual downtrend to $60 is that much better before rolling to $70 with the idea that price and strike price will eventually converge because you’ll be paying a net debit unless you roll way out in time and they will all add up if you don’t get a rapid turnaround whereas the calls will continue to add income against a large upfront loss. So the longer it takes to recover, or the more the stock remains against you, the better off you are from the early assignment and covered calls vs rolling…. Therefore… assignment is good (vs the alternative) if there is a strong momentum tendency and assignment tends to suggest either the start of a larger move or the start of a prolonged sideways period. Of course if you knew that you’d be better off not selling the put and buying them or selling deep in the money calls naked or covered instead Delton implied volatility. Buying a put has to exceed the expected move of a low implied volatility selling a call is best if the en the deep in the money options have a lot of extrinsic value (high IV). They are the same trade in the underlying, but opposite trades vs IV.
