Short story: I think water is getting into the exhaust system during heavy rain or a wash. Every now and then the engine light comes on for a few days and then goes off. That catastrophic message was strange, but I pulled over, power cycled the bike and haven’t seen it since.

Agreed, I’m not in love with the outcome. I needed to over compensate for the tunnel shots. But I couldn’t make the transition seamless without the viewer noticing a drastic change in the color. The outcome is really bright white cars and blown out skies. 😖 But I’ll find a way!!!

No, I’ve actually had the bike on the stands since the start of June. When I get back home, it’s going in for 10k service.

@@WesleyxPegasus 10k service suggests you're actually using the bike 🙂. I'm still trying to get the 600 miles done so that I can get the first service done 😄. I've got Akra headers but not fitted them just yet. I was wondering whether the bike would benefit from an ECU flash and tune once the headers have been fitted.

My M1000R has its 10k service, and it has been in the workshop for 4 weeks. The water/oil pump began leaking, so they needed to wait for the pump. Oh, plus my mate lost my key, so they were waiting for that too. There are three M1000R's in Andorra, and 3 out of 3 have had water pumps fail.

My Diavel V4 is only 6 weeks on the road with 3k on the clock. It has been with Ducati Barcelona since 8 August. The cooling fans no longer switch on. If anyone in Barcelona wants to buy a Ducati and the Barcelona showroom is the only option, go buy a BMW or another brand.

Most of the time has something to do with exhaust system/sensors. Bike switches to emergency mode then and reduces power. But could be anything.

Thanks man. For the wind noise, sound and clarity I run three mics and change volumes or cut some off completely. One mic magnetized to my shirt, another in the mid pocket of my bag, and the third is in the bottom pocket. Can’t do helmet mics at the moment because they all sound horrible and I don’t want to spend 100’s of dollars looking for the right one.

Updated: Have a look, not so much in this video, but in others you can see the trees in the mirrors look like a Van Gogh painting. Man, let me tell you. The vibrations are so bad, but when you’re moving at certain galactic speeds, you’re mainly checking for red and blue lights.

Yup, it’s the vibration dampening attachment. Same stem mount as you I believe.

It’s the arrow header with the stock can. I think the only benefit of the full system is the design of the end can, it seems exclusive to the system. Whereas if you by the can separately it looks slightly different.
