I totally get what you mean! UMD is moderately diverse, i’d say. If you look in the right places, you’ll definitely be able to find your people. There are a ton of organizations and clubs that could help you feel like you’re found “your people”. But heavy on YOUR PEOPLE. Walking on campus seems very pwi, but that’s actually how i made a lot of my friends. On the same token, keep in mind that you might see the occasional random guy on a pogo stick or the one piece guy. feel free to dm me if you have any specific questions, i might be able to help :) @ketascornerofficial

i’m so glad you asked! you can choose if u want a single (room by yourself) or a double (room shared with a roommate). singles cost a little more money ofc but i highly recommend a double if you can, you might really love ur roommate even if you do random selection and if u don’t, then u can always switch throughout the semester.
