On Kurt and Jonny era songs I much prefer Andrew singing than Tilian. Andrew on Uneasy Hearts always kills it too. His voice is more in the original range and tone and more understated than Tilian

Andrew gets so little credit for stepping in to another person's style and range. Tillian will airways be one of my favorite vocalists of all time, but Andrew is doing great. He's singing things an octave over his comfortable range. Kudos bro
I can tell that you either Googled vocal buzzwords or have never sang before. His range is limited as shit with the old music. Reminds me of when Bradley Walden took over for Jonny Craig. He's not a good fit as clean vocalist for DGD. He's a good guitarist for them, sure. He's more of a baritenor like how Jonny was. I would say that Tilian is a countertenor IMHO. But honestly, Wells voice doesn't fit. At all. He's great in Eidola and that's his project. Let him do that. DGD sold their souls and allowed Tilian back so fuck it.

Sorry for late response but Jon took a break during Carl Barker for every show of the tour! Makes sense because he had pounce bounce, pop off, acceptance speech, and uneasy hearts back to hack before this
this lineup should record an album, never thought Kurt Travis and Marc Okubo would be on the same stage.

There isn't enough appreciation for Marc Okubo's filling in as the 2nd guitarist, so I guess we should just appreciate his mad skills! Fella learned an entire set in a reasonably short time (even shorter when Tilian got sick and Andrew replaced him for the first time in 2021), and he did incredibly well! Just look at 3:26, pure badassery 🔥🔥
My favorite thing about this song is whoever was the touring guitarist/main guitarist of the era at the time they would put their own little lick in that guitar solo and Marc fucking killed it 🔥

There’s no energy when Andrew sings Tillian’s parts. Kind of a strange departure from Tillian who always gives his all even at the end of a long set or sickness. This band needs him to come back ASAP
In his defense here, this was the “last song” he sang before “Rock Solid” so of course he was probably out of energy. He did amazing and to be filling Tilians shoes is a big thing. Not to mention this was the second show of the tour so yeah, I’m sure he did amazing as well at other cities and for the rest of the tour.
He'd blow his voice out trying to sing that high. Tillians voice is naturally just high it's not even that he can sing better both are good but trying to sing those high of notes when your voice isn't naturally like that every night for months realistically would be torture.
So freaking good. I really like how they traded up vocals. This line up has freaking awesome flow

Andrew is a great vocalist but his performances are pretty underwhelming from what I've seen online.
That’s too bad but tbh I actually think he did great. But we’re all entitled to our opinion.
I saw him in St. Louis last week and I thought his stage presence was AMAZING. I was actually somewhat confused when I saw this because Andrew was so much more commanding. That was almost a month after this was posted though so he may have gotten more comfortable with it.
It’s tough to find a good performance from Andrew, but I think it’s a testament to his durability that he can sound halfway decent at this point. This is usually a closer and he’s singing for Eidola on this tour plus covering for Tilian on most songs for DGD. His normal vocals are tough enough, but singing in Tilian’s range is a different set of vocal muscles that’s tough to maintain and then come back down to normal ranges without strain.
Love Andrew's voice in general but I especially appreciate the fact that he's not trying to be Tilian and instead is singing in his own style. Yeah it's not as high as Tilian but let's be honest; there's not many people out there with the range Tilian has. Andrew made it his own and killed it 🤌🏻
Andrew really showed how well he can handle each arc’s style of vocals on this song. It keeps me coming back
Yeah agreed but to be honest, still sounds so cringe how Andrew skipped the high-pitched parts and as much as I try to picture Andrew fronting the band from now on, DGD will hardly ever reach the greatness that they had with Tilian, he was, and will always be the best complement for the band.

He certainly sounds like he's killing SOMETHING...sounds painful and is totally cringe if we're being honest. THANKFULLY we won't have to hear it much longer with TILIAN returning. I love DGD but I'd never pay to see them with Andrew wailing like a dying cat the whole time.

He’s already in a band with Will Swan. Guitarists and other instrumentalists can be in two bands, usually even on the same tour. But vocalists/especially lead vocalists can’t do two bands at once. It’s a huge ask.

I'm not gonna lie , I was bummed at first but in the end it was a great show and i was just happy to be able to see them . The last St Louis show was cancelled at the last minute and prior to that the show was postponed like 2 times I believe . I had tickets since 2019 lol

Dnt get me wrong, Andrew def has the potential to take over if Tilian doesn't come back. But personally, I think it would make more sense for Kurt and maybe even Sergio to permanently join Kurt got a lot a hate for his live performances back in the day, but now would be the perfect time to undo all that
